6 Best Vegan Pumpkin Snacks for This Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Graceland chapter.

The second the weather turns cool, it’s time to roll out the sweaters, candles, midterm study materials, and (of course!) PUMPKIN SPICE! Remember when it was just the PSL, then maybe a pumpkin muffin or two? Now, there can sometimes be an overwhelming and frankly confusing array of pumpkin treats at the grocery store (pasta sauce? no, thank you!), so we’ve rounded up the best vegan pumpkin snacks to try and love this fall.

1. Purely Elizabeth Pumpkin Cinnamon Ancient Grain Granola

Breakfast is, of course, the most important meal of the day, and there’s no better way to start off your busy autumn mornings than with a bowl of Purely Elizabeth Pumpkin Cinnamon Ancient Grain Granola. It’s delicious and nutritious, and chock-full of great ingredients like millet and chia seeds. Plus, there’s only 5g of sugar per serving.

2. Califia Farms Dairy Free Almondmilk Pumpkin Spice Creamer

I was totally bummed to learn that the Starbucks pumpkin spice sauce has milk in it, ruling out everyone’s favorite holiday treat. But you can DIY your PSL with Califia Farms Dairy Free Almondmilk Pumpkin Spice Creamer. With just 2 tsp of sugar per serving, you can add a little extra dash of vegan pumpkin magic to your coffee (and save that sugar for later!).

3. Daiya Pumpkin Spice Cheezecake

Want something a little different from your typical pumpkin pie? How about a sweet treat that you can just pop out of the freezer when your sweet tooth (or that cute guy from class!) calls? Daiya Pumpkin Spice Cheezecake is creamy, delicious, gluten-free and (of course) totally vegan, therefore totally perfect.

4. Miss Jones Baking Co. Mini Pumpkin Donut Muffin Mix

Mini muffins? Mini donuts? Mini donut muffins? Yes, yes, YES! Whip up these sweet little treats to share with your 9 a.m. class, or keep them all to yourself. Just make sure to follow the “vegan” instructions on the box.

5. Pumpkin Pie Larabar

Keep some fall spirit in your backpack for between-class snacking! This delicious snack bar features apples, dates, pumpkin, cashews, almonds, and a mixture of spices for a pumpkin pie treat with no added sugar.

6. Good Karma Dairy Free Pumpkin Spice Nog

Good Karma Dairy Free Pumpkin Spice Nog is going to be a new favorite holiday treat for the whole season. The perfect balance of pumpkin-y sweetness and holiday spice, this is an amazing treat served plain or (my go-to style), topped with Non-dairy Almond Reddi-wip and our next (bonus!) ingredient. Like all of Good Karma’s food, there’s no soy, no dairy, and no nuts, but a whole lot of flavor.
