5 Tipsy Bartender Drinks That You Need to Try

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Gatech chapter.

I would be lying if I didn’t say the main reason why I scroll through Facebook are to run into Tasty and Tipsy Bartender videos. I would also be lying if I said I didn’t have a list of delicious (or sometimes just even artsy) top drinks that I’m saving for every Bachelorette Monday.  With so much creativity on our feeds, how can one just settle for plain traditional cocktails?

Here are five of my favorite Tipsy Bartender drink videos. Spoil your guests by serving them at your next get-together or invite friends over to help make them.  Either way, you’ll have a blast.

1. Lemon Raspberry Champagne Float

My mouth’s watering.  This recipe looks so simple (I’m bound to mess it up regardless) while also coming off as so professional – great way to fool your guests…or yourself. Who needs company when you have a drink like that, am I right, ladies?

2. Raspberry Mojito

This one’s a little more complicated. But all these ingredients are super fresh and perfect for a summer at the beach or a day by the pool. I love drinks with texture and honestly, mojitos get me (I think it’s my Cuban roots coming through).  Also, imagine the photo possibilities. C’mon, it sells itself.

3. Coco Loco

You can drink it out of a coconut and it makes sense.  But if you want to use a normal cup, that’s totally understandable, looks like battling a coconut is quite the testing process. But this is pretty much a drunk coconut milk, which I’m all about.  And it practically screams S-U-M-M-E-R so get your tiny umbrellas ready.

4. Mini Patron Margaritas

THEY’RE SO CUTE I CANNOT.  I would be lying if I said I was anything but a tequila girl.  My first drink was tequila, I’m a margarita making machine and this idea has me enthused. PRAISE.  It’s perfect to keep any drinking game exciting with the variety of flavors and you won’t be mixing alcohols (look at how responsible you are). Fool-proof plan.

5. Caribbean Sangria

I love Sangria. I will visit certain restaurants if I hear raves about their Sangria, I take it very seriously.  It’s tropical and refreshing, for the most part light and it’s probably pretty healthy with all those fruits. It’s equivalent to juice so drink up.

I now give you permission to impress all your guests with these amazing delicious drinks.

But remember, drinking is a marathon, not a sprint, so drink responsibly. You’re going to want to be able to taste these drinks when you get to them.  Make me and the Tipsy Bartender proud.

All about dancing bodies and intertwining minds.
