On Thursday night, Fordham Spoon hit the ground running with drink specials and wings on wings on wings for their very first event of the year. And it won’t be the last. Attendees purchased tickets for the kickoff either in advance online or at the door for entrance to the event at 10PM.

This month’s theme was ‘local’ so what better place to hold the first event of the year than the classic Fordham chill spot and student-favorite, Howl at the Moon? It may also help that it rhymes with Spoon.

A fairly low-key event, students enjoyed great food, music and company. The food spread didn’t disappoint with all the quintessential bar foods: mini cheeseburgers, mozzarella sticks, curly fries, buffalo wings, and nachos with all the fix-ins. Drink specials included $1 drafts, $3 mixed drinks and $5 pitchers.
