As a freshman at Fairfield, our dining hall provides many food options every day. I’m going to show you what my typical day of eating looks like.
Breakfast
Today I had greek yogurt, granola, and a banana for breakfast in my room. Most days when I go to the Tully, I grab some extra food to bring back to my dorm for breakfast the next day; yogurt and granola are my go-to for this. I also made myself iced blueberry herbal tea to drink throughout the day.
Lunch
I knew I wanted to use my meal swipe at the food trucks for dinner, so I went to the Tully for lunch. At the Tully, I had grilled chicken and broccoli fettuccine alfredo with a side salad. Honestly, this was one of the best meals I have had from the Tully since being at Fairfield. The alfredo was very cheesy. It was perfect for a cold, rainy day like today.
Snack
After lunch, I went to the library to study and for a little break, I ate the raspberries I got with my lunch earlier in the day.
Dinner
For dinner, I went to the food trucks and ordered from Fork in the Road, my favorite truck. When I was in line, I saw they started offering wraps on the menu, so I knew I had to try it. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was delicious. It had a lot of flavor and was not too spicy.
Dessert
To end the day on a high note while drafting this article, I ate some Ben & Jerry’s, The Tonight Dough, that I got from the MicroMarket on campus.
And that’s what I eat in a day at Fairfield University!
