Top 5 Pizza Slices in Fairfield You Must Try

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Fairfield chapter.

Pizza is universally accepted as the most delicious food to ever be invented. Luckily for us in Fairfield, we have a plethora of delicious options to satisfy our pizza cravings whenever they may hit, (or if they are constant and underlying like my own).

1. Colony Grill

A nice sit down option at a very reasonable price, Colony Grill is great for a quick lunch or really anytime you are craving some thin crust, crispy ‘za.

Recommendation: Pizza with a lot of parm cheese and red pepper flakes.

2. Brick + Wood

The awesome ambiance Brick & Wood is perfect for your next date night. Their handmade mozzarella is to die for. We are sure you’ll be hard pressed to leave with any leftovers.

Recommendation: Arugula e Prosciutto – white pizza, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, shaved parmigiano, and a touch of balsamic glaze.

3. Pronto

Spice up your Super Bowl party with a Pronto Buffalo Chicken Pizza!

Pronto Pizza is the perfect pizza to grab and bring back to your room to snack on as you get ready to go out. This pizza is just as good eaten cold when you finally make it home.

Recommendation: Buffalo Chicken Pizza – ricotta and mozzarella base, buffalo chicken, bacon and a buttermilk ranch swirl.

4. Pizzeria Molto

The best place to take your parents when they come to visit, Molto is always buzzing with people. Hopefully you’ll be able to find a table, the pizza is def. worth the wait.

Recommendation: Burrata Pizza – homemade crust topped tomato sauce with rich, flavorful burrata.

5. Pepe’s Pizza

Famous throughout Connecticut, Frank Pepe’s pizza is out of this world. Cut in uneven slices and served on a tray, what it lacks in aesthetics this pizza makes up for in big bold flavors.

Recommendation: White Clam Pizza – fresh clams with grated cheese, olive oil, fresh garlic, and oregano.
