Famous for their breakfast specials and signature “RedGate” sandwich, Firehouse Deli is the go-to spot for Fairfield students. A personal favorite, the RedGate sandwich is filled with grilled chicken, bacon, avocado (need I say more?) jack cheese, and basil mayo on a roll. Luckily, Firehouse Deli is just a few minutes away from campus, making it quick and easy to grab a delicious breakfast or lunch that will have you coming back for more. Seriously, put down that sandwich from the Stag and head over to Firehouse for a meal that will satisfy your taste buds without breaking your bank account.

Coming from an Italian-American family, I’ve been blessed with some pretty amazing food. Where do I get my Italian food fix while I’m at school? Pizzeria Molto on Post Road. The atmosphere is upbeat and posh, making it the perfect get away from the dining hall. The homemade pasta tastes just like grandma’s. If your in the mood to devour some little soft pillows of happiness, look no further than the Potato Gnocchi appetizer. These homemade potato dumplings will have your taste buds jumping with joy. Whether you decide on a comforting pasta dish or a gourmet pizza (that puts Dominoes to shame), everything on Molto’s menu will exceed your expectations and than some.
