Like normal folks, celebrities love food and some of them just want to share that love. While some celebs are known for their acting or their singing or for reasons we aren’t quite sure, it turns out they’re all pretty good cooks, too. Check out some of these celebrity cookbooks to find out what the famous folk eat.
1. Gwyneth Paltrow
You knew she had to be on this list, so I thought it best to put her first to get it out of the way. Paltrow is almost as well known for her health and nutrition as she is for her acting. Paltrow will be releasing her fourth cookbook soon and has announced that it will be dedicated to her kids as well as her famous friends’ children, like Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy.
2. Chrissy Teigen
Yup, even supermodels can love food. Teigen released Cravings in February and, while Paltrow’s books are filled with all things healthy, Chrissy goes in the opposite direction. While you might expect a supermodel to shun junk food, Teigen admits that she loves it wholeheartedly, with recipes like a french toast casserole with Frosted Flakes.
3. Kris Jenner
No, seriously, this cookbook exists and it’s perfectly called In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites. Jenner filled the book, released in 2014, with family recipes, as well as tips and tricks for food and the entertainment industry. It’s also filled with family photos from throughout her and her children’s lives.
4. Stanley Tucci
This insanely talented actor is also an insanely talented cook. Tucci published The Tucci Cookbook in 2012 and The Tucci Table in 2014. The first is filled with recipes from Tucci’s Italian upbringing. The latter is dedicated to not only his Italian childhood, but also the British upbringing of his wife, Felicity Blunt (Emily Blunt’s sister).
5. Ann Romney
The wife of the former presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, decided to publish The Romney Family Table after her husband lost the election. The book is pretty much exactly what you’d expect: all American and very family-oriented. It’s filled with happy stories about raising her kids and casual foods her kids loved, like fluffernutter sandwiches.
6. Kate Gosselin
The famous mom of eight published Kate Gosselin’s Love Is in the Mix in 2013. The book is filled with easy to make recipes that she claimed to have come up with herself out of necessity. Cooking for eight kids can’t be an easy feat!
7. Nolan Ryan
The legendary pitcher published The Nolan Ryan Beef and Barbecue Cookbook in 2014. Growing up in Texas, Ryan was big fan of cattle ranching. His cookbook is filled with dishes that aren’t exactly vegetarian-friendly. Inside, you’ll find the pages covered in recipes for steaks and burgers, as well as old family recipes like his wife’s carrot cake.
8. Amar’e Stoudemire
Ryan isn’t the only athlete who can cook. Stoudemire, the Miami Heat’s forward, wasn’t always what he would consider a good cook. In fact, he had no idea how to cook until one day he asked his personal chef to help him. After many lessons, Stoudemire decided to put out a cookbook, Cooking with Amar’e, with his chef in 2014.
9. Eva Longoria
Longoria wrote her first cookbook, Eva’s Kitchen, in 2011 and focused the book on her upbringing on a ranch in Texas. The recipes use fresh ingredients and are based on her Mexican heritage. The pages are also filled with the story of her childhood and how she got to where she is today.
