50 Places to Eat in Nashville If You’re Gluten or Dairy Free

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Duke chapter.

Moving to a new city is hard. What’s even harder? Moving to a new city when you can’t eat gluten or dairy. A friend of mine recently found herself faced with this plight after deciding to move to Nashville for grad school. She’s grown up in California surrounded by kale, acai bowls and dairy-free froyo, so I wondered what on earth she would eat in the south, a.k.a. the land of fried food. As a firm believer in getting to know a city through its food, I compiled a guide to Nashville, complete with all the restaurants to visit if you’re gluten and/or dairy free.
