Where to Find the Best Late Night Pizza on Drexel’s Campus

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Drexel chapter.

As a college student, 1am drunchies are one of the most important meals of the day. It is where most of our daily calories get consumed, but also when some of the best memories are made. That’s why having a good place to eat late-night pizza at Drexel University is a MUST in order to indulge without regrets and end the night happier.

Savas Pizza is the best place to find late-night pizza at Drexel University. Its vast menu runs from gyros to oven pizzas and pasta to burgers. It’s open seven days a week from 9am-2am and offers delivery – because pizza time is all the time!

The best part?

Each slice of pizza is HUGE! It’s around 14” (what!?) and costs only $2.50

Its soft, chewy crust is a perfect showcase the sauce and toppings. Also, because the pizza is cooked in a brick oven, the toppings keep their regular nutritional value and have a deeper flavor. I mean, this is the type of fast food that is worth eating!

In my experience, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Spinach Ricotta are the most delicious slices out there. The first one has a touch of spice that, as a Mexican-, I believe gives the pizza an extra punch. The Spinach Ricotta has a simpler flavor but is still different and yummy! The balance between spinach and cheese makes healthy but tasty as well.

“What If I Don’t Like Pizza,” You Say?

There are multiple options you can choose from: pancakes, gyros, stromboli, panini, burgers or pasta. Also, Savas offers a vast range of beers from Mexican to German, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages like milkshakes (yay!).

If you’re a Drexel Student who just finished partying or studying, or you’re just craving a delicious meal, Savas is where you must go! There is almost no chance you will get to Savas and not crave anything from their menu. I dare you to go and have the best late pizza at Drexel University.
