Remember those good ol’ days when you didnāt need to shop for groceries or your favorite snacks?
Now, as a college student, that’sĀ yourĀ responsibility!Ā
With classes starting for most of usĀ and work piling up, thereās a lot to manage every week, and buying groceries is the last thing you want on your mind. If you live away from home, it can be hard to plan and maintain a healthy balance with your meals.
Thereās no reason to make it stressful though; you should have fun with picking out healthy snacks to go with your meals. Here, I’ll share my go-to healthy and nutritious snacks from Costco, which all have a healthy mixture of carbs, fats, proteins, and important vitamins and minerals!
Harvest Snaps Organic Green Pea Snack CrispsĀ
The first item from my haul is theseĀ Harvest Snaps Organic Green Pea Snack Crisps.
You can snack on these healthy crisps from Costco, which will last you a while because they come in a 20 oz bag. It’s certified organic by the USDA, gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan-friendly!
The crisps are made in a peanut and tree nut free facility, are baked instead of fried, and contain no color additives. To top it off, every serving (22 pieces) contains 130 calories with 5g protein and 9.1g fiber.
Pepperidge Farm Cheddar Goldfish Crackers
The next snack Iāll be raving about is Pepperidge Farm Cheddar Goldfish Crackers. This box comes with 45 bags of quality, healthy cheese snacks. They’re in fun little fish shapes and easy to pack for class or lunch.
These are great to munch on to get your carbsĀ in and energize you for a day of classes. Plus, these snacks from Costco are so much cheaper to buy in bulk!
Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Yogurt Cups
The last snack is more versatile and can be a part of your meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This is none other than my favorite Greek yogurt, Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Yogurt Cups,Ā which come in a box of 18 cups.
Besides how inexpensive these are at Costco compared to your local supermarket or grocery store, each cup is comprised of 15g of protein, 0g of added sugar, and zero sweeteners.
While you can eat it as it is, there are other ways to incorporate this probiotic packed snack into your meals. Some ways I enjoy it are for topping my oatmeal, cereal, and salads, marinating chicken, or a dipping sauce for veggies. Next time you’re at Costco, don’t forget to add these yogurt cups to your cart!
And that concludes my snack haul from Costco. All of these snacks are packed with fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats. They will guarantee you energy and are perfect to snack on in between meals.Ā
