Some of the best eats you’ll ever enjoy in college will be those late-night drunk eats and I’m sure there’s a scientific reason why greasy fried food and sickeningly sweet desserts taste so much better after a night of cocktails and wine. Anyways, here is where you should be hanging out in Collegetown after a late night out. Forget the after party, because drunk food is SO much better.
9. 7-Eleven
Hours
24 hours, 7 days a week.
Food
Basically, everything. Chips, donuts, cookies, ramen, pizza, wings, you name it. Whatever your drunk heart (stomach) desires, 7-Eleven will cater to your needs.
Pros
Cheap, fast, open 24/7. Your options are (almost) endless and it’s the perfect place to stop by if you need your chocolate chip cookies but bae wants some piping hot pizza.
Cons
Nowhere to sit n’ munch after getting food. #sadface
8. Insomnia Cookies
Hours
12 PM to 3 AM, 7 days a week.
Food
Warm cookies, ice cream, and brownies.
Pros
Always guaranteed to satisfy your (drunk) sweet tooth. What could be better than warm, chewy, and incredibly delicious cookies after night out?
Cons
Limited drunk food options. Just a tad bit overpriced.
7. That’s How I Roll

Hours
5 PM to 2AM, Thursday to Saturday.
Food
Ithaca’s only sushi truck. If you’re craving a sushi burrito, you’re in luck.
Pros
The menu is unique and creative, and you can still get your sushi fix after Plum Tree and Miyake close. Any sushi burrito is filling and definitely worth trying.
Cons
The food is a bit overpriced, and the food truck is a bit distant from the bars on Eddy Street.
6. Luna Inspired Street Food

Hours
11 AM to 1:30 AM, 7 days a week.
Food
Tacos, sandwiches, pizza, fries, Mac n’ cheese, and FRIED OREOS.
Pros
The restaurant is adjacent to Loco, and a small doorway connects the restaurant to the bar. How convenient. Luna offers many options, and the food is always served warm and fried to perfection.
Cons
Hauling your ass back up the hill to Collegetown after eating and drinking is the absolute worst.
5. Collegetown Bagels

Hours
6:30 AM to 2 AM, 7 days a week.
Food
Bagels, sandwiches, smoothies, baked goods, and a variety of snacks.
Pros
The food is #bomb and nothing beats a fresh hot pizza bagel after a night of drinking. There are many tables, so you can sit down and chat with friends while munching on your food.
Cons
The wait can be long, and CTB is probably the most expensive option on this list.
4. Sammy’s Pizzeria
Hours
10 AM to 1 AM, Sunday to Wednesday. 10 AM to 2 AM, Thursdays. 10 AM to 3 AM, Fridays and Saturdays.
Food
Pizza, obviously.
Pros
Cheap and fast, less crowded than CTP. Who wouldn’t want a nice slice of warm cheesy pizza on a late night?
Cons
A bit overpriced.
3. Jack’s Grill

Hours
11 AM to 11 PM, Sunday to Tuesday. 11 AM to 1:45 AM, Wednesday to Saturday.
Food
Burgers, fries, and milkshakes.
Pros
The only place in Collegetown to get a solid burger after midnight. There is plenty of seating inside, and the bar is right next door. Besides, who doesn’t crave some greasy fried food after a night of drinking?
Cons
The food is sometimes soggy, and the wait can be long when the place gets crowded.
2. Collegetown Pizza
A photo posted by @photosfromafoodie on Mar 6, 2015 at 6:52am PST
Hours
11 AM to 1:30 AM, 7 days a week.
Food
Pizza, duh.
Pros
Everyone heads over to CTP for warm pizza after a night out. It’s pretty much the after party and you are guaranteed to see at least a couple of your friends there. The pizza is always served warm and freshly baked.
Cons
Long lines, long waits, crowded pizzeria. If you want to eat your pizza in peace, this is not the place for you.
1. Dos Amigos Tacos
A photo posted by @dosamigosfood on Aug 23, 2015 at 1:31pm PDT
Hours
10 PM to 2 AM, Thursday to Saturday.
Food
Tacos, quesadillas, chips and salsa, guacamole, and churros.
Pros
Definitely the best late-night drunk food that Ithaca has to offer. Almost everything is freshly made, and fresh warm food is the perfect way to end a night out in Collegetown. The truck is also right next to Dunbars and Level B.
Cons
A bit pricey but IMO the freshly made food is worth every penny. Also, because of its popularity, you will most likely have to wait for your food, and a minute feels like eternity when you’re drunk and hungry and all you want is to stuff a juicy cheesy pork quesadilla into your mouth.
