In case you haven’t heard yet, a play and a two-part book that sequels the Harry Potter series will be released this summer. The play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, will debut in London on July 30. At 12:01 am on July 31 (the day that just so happens to be Harry’s birthday), the script will be released as a two-part book.

Fans are going to be lined up out the door to get their hands on the new book, and they’re bound to get a little hungry while they wait. We’ve come up with a grand list of the best Harry Potter-inspired snacks to bring with you to the magical release party.

Oh yes, you can turn one of Harry Potter’s favorite drinks into delectable butterbeer cupcakes. They’ll come in handy at the release party.
