Founded in 2018, HighKey is an online retailer offering a variety of keto-friendly and grain-free products. Co-CEO Joe Ens worked at General Mills for more than 20 years before he started at HighKey. Some of their products are also dairy-free!
I don’t follow a keto diet, but I’m always looking for more healthy dairy-free snacks. When a representative reached out about HighKey, I was excited to try them.
Biscotti
The mini biscotti are very mini. A serving size is about five pieces so you don’t feel bad about grabbing a whole handful of biscotti out of the bag. Each serving has 3 grams of net carbs and 3 grams of protein. There is no added sugar.
The biscotti are nice and crunchy, and since they’re made with almond flour and almonds, you get a strong almond taste. They don’t have vanilla in them, but it sort of tastes like they do.
If you’re looking for your chocolate fix, HighKey also makes chocolate chip mini biscotti cookies.
Granola
Maple Pecan
If you’re searching for a sweet snack, look no further. The maple pecan granola tastes like granola mixed with maple syrup. There are large pieces of pecans mixed in, and every bite is different. Sometimes you get a lot of pumpkin seeds, sometimes it’s more sunflower seeds and chia seeds.
A 1/4 cup serving has 14 grams of fat and 5 grams of protein. With 10 grams of total carbs, 3 grams of dietary fiber, and 5 grams of erythritol, each serving only has 2 grams of net carbs.
Cinnamon Almond
The cinnamon almond granola is my personal favorite. It’s cinnamony and sweet and it would be a good on-the-go snack. The granola also makes a nice addition to some yogurt, or you can eat it with milk like cereal.
A serving has less than 1 gram of sugar, 6 grams of protein, and 2 grams of net carbs. Both of the granola flavors have added collagen, and the cinnamon almond one also has turmeric. They are also both gluten, grain, and dairy-free.
In addition to the mini biscotti cookies and granola, HighKey also offers cereals, cookies, and baking mixes. Have you tried anything from HighKey? Let us know @spoon_cc on Instagram!
