When you’re sick of campus food and don’t have time to scramble for cash, check out one of these Lewisburg staples where campus dollars can be used off-campus. All you need is your BU ID (and your appetite).
1. Pizza Phi
The only pizza joint with some semi-thin crust pizza. Pizza Phi is a great place to quickly grab a late night slice (or two…or three…) from Wednesday to Saturday.
2. CVS on Market St
Because the main reason we even go to CVS is to buy snacks (and chasers).
3. Pronto, Provisions with Passion, Inc
Turkey. Brie. Sandwich. Must I continue? Yes, actually, because the freshly-baked bread deserves our recognition.
4. Domino’s
For those nights when counting cash is a struggle (you know what I mean).
5. Subway on Market St
Did someone say $5 (campus dollar) foot-long?
6. Zelda’s Café
Since breakfast should probably still be eaten after the Caf switches to lunch food (at the early hour of 11 am), go to Zelda’s for the most important meal of the day… or a cookie bigger than your head.
7. Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt
Not having any cash or a credit cards should never interfere with you and your fro-yo.
8. Barnes & Noble Café
Not only does Starbucks have an endless amount of snacks, sandwiches, and soups, but it’s also the closest you’ll ever get to an on-campus Starbucks.
9. Mancini’s Pizza, Deli & Café
Enormous subs, paninis, pizzas, and other dishes that will fuel your food baby. Quick, stop by before they move to Market St.
10. Vennari’s Pizza
Scarf down an entire pizza here for the price of a standard meal at the Bison. Vennari’s never holds back on the cheese.
