Top 5 Best Late Night Food at Bucknell University

This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at Bucknell chapter.

I think we can all relate to those times when you come back from a night out and all you can think about is what warm, gooey, greasiness will be filling your stomach once you get home. After dancing and sweating off all the food you ate earlier in the day, it only makes sense to relax and refuel with some late night eats. Right? Thankfully, at and around Bucknell, late night food options are plentiful.

1. Dominos

This one is a given and a staple among all college students. Dominos is definitely the go-to after a long night and when you’re craving the greasiest and cheesiest carbs to coat your stomach before bed.

You may feel both a sense of regret and satisfaction as you stuff your face, but I think we can all agree it’s so worth it. Plus, the Lewisburg Dominos delivers until 3 a.m. on weekdays and until 4 a.m. on weekend!

#SpoonTip: Pay over the phone with your campus dollars by giving them your BUID (its dangerously easy!).

2. Pizza Phi

Pizza Phi is a Bucknell campus staple. You probably have had their food at some point as they are the go-to delivery spot for most university-run events. BUT, did you know they have a late night menu that runs from midnight to 3 a.m.? Yup, that’s right, you can order from a special menu designed to satisfy all the typical late night cravings.

As if you needed another reason to check it out, Pizza Phi is another Lewisburg restaurant that takes campus dollars. All you have to do is tell them your BUID number when you call to order!

3. Larry’s Pizza and Subs

Larry’s is one of the most underrated Bucknell late night food options on this list. Not only do they deliver super quickly, but they also have no minimum (which is HUGE!) and they are open until 3 a.m.! Their entire menu is available late night, so if you’re craving a pasta dinner, chicken wings, a sandwich or pizza, they have you covered.

4. 7th Street Cafe

This is another lesser known spot for late night eats, but it’s one of the best. 7th street may not deliver, but it is on the way back up hill so it’s super easy to pop in and pick from an assortment of sandwiches, salads and, of course, their legendary brownies. It’s quick, easy and they take Dining Dollars. Plus they are open until 2 a.m., so there is nothing holding you back!

5. The Flyson

I couldn’t make a list of late night eats without mentioning The Flyson. If you go to Bucknell, getting Flyson is a freshman year tradition (every year). With an impressive and creative menu of Fried Mac’N’Cheese, Nacho Tots, and Walking Tacos, The Flyson is the ultimate late night spot. Since it’s open until 2 a.m. on Wednesdays and until 3 a.m. on the weekends, it’s only about 2 blocks from downtown, and they take Dining Dollars, it’s the ultimate post-game.

As you can see, at Bucknell, you never have to go to bed hungry. There are so many different Bucknell late night food options to choose from, from right on campus to just a phone call away, your next late night snack is never out of reach.
