This article is written by a student writer from the Spoon University at BC chapter.

Holiday drink season is upon us, and Starbucks is notorious for having unique and enticing holiday flavors. It might surprise you just how many calories are in a tall cup of these seasonal drinks, though. Here is a ranking of Starbucks’ holiday drinks, starting with the drink with the highest amount of calories. The nutritional information for each of these drinks can be found on the Starbucks website, and the calorie count is based on the tall (12 oz) size made with whole milk.

8. Peppermint White Hot Chocolate: 430 Calories

A tall cup of this peppermint white hot chocolate made with whole milk, white chocolate mocha sauce, peppermint syrup, and topped with sweet whipped cream and dark chocolate is the most caloric holiday drink. But the 430 calories are completely worth it because this drink tastes exactly like a chocolate-covered candy cane.
