It seems like it’s nearly impossible to check social media, turn on the radio, or scroll through TikTok without hearing the phrase “That’s that me espresso.” Disney Darling turned pop princess Sabrina Carpenter has lived in our heads rent-free since dropping her uber-catchy, upbeat, sassy single “Espresso” in April 2024, which has been dubbed “the song of the summer” and sitting atop the charts ever since.

The song is dominating playlists, charts, and even vocabularies — the girlies simply cannot stop saying that they're "working late, 'cus I'm a singer." Now, thanks to NYC-based Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the hit single is going to be transcending more than just our ears – it’ll be taking over pints, too. That morning coffee? Van Leeuwen brewed it for ya, in ice cream form.

What's Sabrina Carpenter's ice cream flavor?

The nationally beloved ice cream brand, which is known for its made-from-scratch dairy and vegan ice cream, is partnering with Sabrina Carpenter to drop a limited-edition Espresso flavor, featuring rich, chewy brownies, chocolate chips, and swirls of fudge. Carpenter announced the collab via her Instagram story on June 8, showcasing the cute pint featuring the single’s artwork.

Carpenter showed off the delectable dessert on Instagram, writing “Isn’t that sweet? I guess so.” TBH, I’d say the same of any of Van Leeuwen’s signature flavors.

It’s safe to say that we’ll be up every night thinking about this collab until it becomes available starting June 28. You can snag the Espresso collab in all Van Leeuwen scoop shops across the country and on their website by the pint and the scoop (while supplies last). Plus, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity – isn’t that sweet?

There was also an exclusive sneak peek tasting of the Van Leeuwen x Sabrina Carpenter Espresso Ice Cream at Governors Ball on Saturday, June 8. A few lucky fans got a preview of the new flavor at the Van Leeuwen ice cream truck following Carpenter’s performance.

Ben Van Leeuwen, co-founder and CEO, said: "Doing a flavor collab with a genuine Van Leeuwen super fan is always a lot of fun. We’re so excited to celebrate Sabrina and her newest hit with this extremely delicious ice cream.”

Is it that sweet? Oh, we guess so.
