Pizza X: Pizza to the People

Before we get into the good stuff — everything Pizza X — we want to tell you about something amazing they’re doing right now. Pizza X is currently running a scratch an win promotion to reward Bloomington’s hardworking community and it rocks.

The promotion begins on December 8, 2014, and runs until all the scratch off tickets have been have been distributed. Participants have a one in four chance of winning prizes such as IU tuition, Pizza X pizza parties, Lennie’s and Pizza X gift cards and coupons toward future Pizza X orders. The scratch off tickets come on every order, and we think free tuition is the perfect excuse to order more Pizza X.

By now you’ve probably seen (heard) the Pizza X truck driving around campus blaring music and giving away free breadsticks to famished students, or heard people raving about the Big X Bargain, but have you ever tried Pizza X yourself?

In a place where late-night pizza runs reign supreme, Pizza X carves out a perfect niche for itself with the quality and price of its pizza, along with amazing deals to help out the penny-pinching, but hungry college student.

Take a bite out of a Pizza X slice, and you’ll be left with a satisfying balance of toppings, cheese, sauce and crust. Freshly made dough is hand-tossed and piled high with fresh ingredients to create the perfect slice. Their crispy, salty crust sets them apart from your average greasy pizza chain, and will get you going back for seconds… and thirds… and fourths. No judgment.

From the Chicken Pizzadilla topped with black beans, to the Mediterranean flavors of the Pesto Mambo, their assortment of specialty pizzas gives you a variety of options. Not finding a pizza that curbs your craving? No worries. Pizza X allows you to build your own pie selecting from their three different crusts, seven different sauces, an assortment of toppings and four different cheeses.

The pie masters at Pizza X also create new pizza recipes every 6-8 weeks to encourage you to break away from your basic cheese pizza. Their current featured pizza is the Little Italy, which is packed with fresh ingredients that will take you across the globe in one bite.

Pizza X understands that no meal is complete without something sweet, so they also sell warm cookies that are freshly made everyday. Dream come true.

Ordering pizza with a buddy? The Big X Bargain is a must. This student favorite gives you a large one-topping pizza, eight breadsticks and a dipping sauce, two drinks and Tootsie-rolls for only $15. Not a bad deal after a long day of classes, a night out or the entire week of the Little 500.

Pizza X’s breadstix are some of the best sticks in Bloomington. With a salty, crunchy exterior, and a soft interior, you’ll never want to get breadsticks from another restaurant again. Dip those sticks into Pizza X ranch, cheese sauce or any of their other delicious sauces for the most unreal breadstick experience of your life.

Look in the cupboard of any IU student, and you’re sure to find unhealthy amounts of Pizza X cups in a wide variety of colors. While outsiders find these collections disturbing, it is often a thing of pride to IU students. But Pizza X cups aren’t the only things you can get for free. If you follow Pizza X on Facebook or Twitter, they often give you phrases to get a discount or some extra goodies when you order (booyah!).
