For over ten years, F&B has offered a unique and delicious array of incredible options that will appeal to any taste. With a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere, premier ingredients, and an expertly crafted menu of French cuisine, this intimate spot will not leave you disappointed.
I was lucky enough to visit with my family, making it even more fun to indulge in their delicious appetizers and try bites of their entree choices! From starters to desserts, F&B delivers an incredible dining experience.
Appetizers
This shareable appetizer cannot be skipped! I am a huge fan of Brie in all forms, and this incredible starter knocked my expectations out of the park.
Paired with prosciutto and a sweet glaze sauce, this is the perfect way to start your dining experience. Additionally, the sweet figs on top were the perfect surprise. The freshly baked warm bread that came with the table made all of these flavors even more noteworthy and savorable.
French Onion Soup
This creamy and decadent appetizer will nearly melt in your mouth. The onions are crisped and caramelized to perfection, and the portion size is perfect to indulge in something so flavorful to start your meal.
My only regret is that I split it as an appetizer with my grandmother in addition to the baked Brie. Although both options were so delicious, they were both so creamy and heavy that I was nearly full by the time my main course arrived. That being said, I am so glad that I got to try the soup as it was unforgettable!
Main Courses
Although I’ve grown up around seafood my entire life, I have to admit that I have never been particularly fond of scallops and their texture. This unique and creative preparation completely changed my perspective. Paired with pumpkin risotto, micro greens, parmesan, and herb oil, this especially indulgent dish is the perfect combination of prominent flavors.
Seafood Pasta
This dish is a combination of so many of my favorite foods, and it immediately stuck out to me on the menu! Its decadence and flavor exceeded my expectations. The white wine sauce made for such a smooth taste, and I loved that I could enjoy the salmon, shrimp, and mussels all in one dish. Additionally, this pasta has a surprising lemon flavor, and I really appreciated the extra kick it gave the dish.
Dessert
While we intentionally ordered less extravagant desserts after such a creamy and hearty meal, the raspberry sorbet was the perfect way to round out the experience. The tart and sweet flavors were a refreshing counter to the rest of the food. I was so stuffed by the end of the night, so this light and refreshing dessert was an excellent finale to my meal.
While F&B presents a dining experience that may be a little too extravagant for a college student’s average night out, their decadent and memorable dishes are perfect for a celebration, special event, or night out with parents.
