Veggie ravioli pasta. Garlic roasted carrots. Very berry tiramisu. These aren’t restaurant menu items or a blogger’s impressive Instagram shot. These are three simple, delicious dishes that you’re going to learn how to make. Today. These dishes make up an epically well-balanced (and meatless) meal to be enjoyed not only by your self-loving self but also by your roomie/S.O./mom. You pick! Whoever you’re loving the most today.

To bring you these glorious meals, we partnered with the ingenious people behind Balance Your Plate. They know that we want to eat better (most of the time), but sometimes we need some inspiration and simple tips to get there. Enter the Balance Your Plate equation, which is as easy as starting with a prepared entrée, adding fruits, veggies, whole grains and/or lean protein, and voilá! – you’ve got yourself a balanced meal. We show you just how easy and delicious it can be in this stellar video, with pasta, pesto, and ladyfingers, too.

We get that making a meal from scratch is not realistic on most nights, and that’s where our bestie Buitoni comes in with freshly made pastas and sauces made with simple, high-quality ingredients. Read: The ravioli and pesto sauce for this recipe are already prepared so you have the perfect foundation to create your own delicious dish.
