Whether it be a 100 degree summer day, or a freezing winter night, you can never go wrong with Mezcal’s chips and guac.  Don’t be scared by their unique assortment of flavors. They chose those combinations for a reason and (most of them) actually taste delish.

Get one large bowl for the table or build a tasting flight with 3 different flavors. After a few too many trips to this favorite spot, we have put together the ultimate guac ranking to help you make that ever so challenging decision a bit easier next time you visit Mezcal.

7.  Mediterranean

We all love sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and feta cheese but were slightly disappointed with this Mediterranean themed guac. A few too many flavors mixed together for our liking.

6.  Crunchy

If you love traditional guac but wish it had a little more crunch, then the crunchy guac is the one for you. The toasted pepitas, smoked almonds and fried corn nuts give you some extra texture without overpowering all your favorite guac flavors. Definitely tasty, but the crunchy flavor is nothing to write home about.

5.  Breakfast Burner

Not going to lie, we were a little nervous to try guac with bacon and hard-boiled egg in it. But, the salty bacon was deliciously complemented by the red hot sauce and smooth bleu cheese. The breakfast burner puts a whole new twist on breakfast for dinner.

4.  House

You can never go wrong with the house guac. It’s your traditional combination of avocado, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and lime. Perfect for all of you less adventurous folks out there or for those who just love to keep it simple.

3.  Buffalo Chicken

Imagine a beautiful plate of buffalo chicken wings with celery, carrots, and blue cheese dressing. Now, imagine all these flavors mixed into, guac. #nuffsaid The buffalo chicken gives this guac a little kick that will keep you going back for more, and more, and more.

2.  Tropical

For those nights when you are wishing you were sipping margaritas on a beach in Mexico, (but reality hits and you’re not) the tropical guac is the way to go. Papaya and mango chunks are mixed with avocado and lime juice to take you on a tropical getaway. This fresh flavor is topped off with roasted cashews, giving it the perfect amount of crunch.

1.  Thai Rooster

Undoubtedly our favorite flavor out there. This sweet and spicy combination of dried pineapple, toasted coconut, black beans, and Sriracha sauce makes for an unexpected, yet delicious twist on your traditional guac. We won’t judge you for scraping out every last bit from the bowl, we understand.
