If you’re a graduating senior, alumni or a current Bucknellian taking part in the graduation festivities, definitely make sure you’ve got a reservation at these local Lewisburg restaurants. They’re guaranteed to satisfy all your crazy relatives with a variety of cuisine ranging from French and American to Italian and Thai.

Elizabeth’s

If you’re interested in an upscale Lewisburg venue with a soothing and sophisticated atmosphere, Elizabeth’s Bistro is the place to be. A major positive factor of dining at Elizabeth’s is the sense of community that can be felt no matter what table you’re sitting at.

One thing you’ll find amazing about many central PA restaurants, and especially at Elizabeth’s, is that all chefs use ingredients that are locally grown, meaning everything they serve is seasonal due to their connections with local farmers. Quality is definitely an important aspect to look for in restaurants with higher priced dishes.

Brassiere Louis

Brassiere Louis is also a fine dinning Lewisburg eatery. known for their inn-like atmosphere, Brassiere Louis is a great place to take all your family members for an impressive French/American meal. If you’re over 21, the ambiance in the bar room is even better; dark wood counters and specialty drinks can make for a fun graduation party.

Lewisburg Hotel

If you’re looking for a traditional Lewisburg location then look no further than the middle of Market street. The Lewisburg Hotel Victorian-style décor also has rooms you can book to stay over.

The hotel is not too pricey, yet still provides efficient service and good food. This is a family oriented place that serves American style food, like wings and other items from the grille. If you’re bringing a big crowd to graduation with younger kids the Lewisburg Inn is the best place to eat.

La Primavera

If you wish to have the full Italian experience, Primavera offers a rustic vibe with excellent Italian cuisine and pizza. Big parties are always welcome since they also have private banquet rooms if your fam is extra big.

If you and your family feel like exploring the neighboring Selinsgrove area, Isabella’s is a delicious Italian Bistro for your celebration. Under the same ownership as Elizabeth’s, Isabella’s has a fantastic, tranquil atmosphere that many families enjoy going to.

With a unique array of pastas specials, Isabella’s always leave you wishing you hadn’t just licked your entire plate clean.  Like Elisabeth’s, the chef uses locally grown. Isabella’s is definitely worth the 10 minute drive.

Siam

If you’re in the mood for more exotic food, Siam is a reasonably priced restaurant where you can get the ultimate Thai experience… Well, almost. Siam provides a cozy setting and the is easily the best Thai food around. The food is served quickly, and signature dishes never dissapoint. The drunken noodles are my favorite, though other favorites include curried chicken and pad thai.

Cherry Alley

If your family is in need of sit down brunch, Cherry Alley has a range of the best breakfast foods for whatever you’re craving. I personally love how everything on the menu is fresh and not too dense; everything made in the kitchen is totally from scratch. With specials like latkes and breakfast burritos, they’ve got awesome flavors.

Amami

Amami is a small, yet amazing, breakfast/lunch cafe with a modern atmosphere. Amami may be new to Lewisburg but they already know how to satisfy hungry Bucknellians. Amami, unlike a lot of breakfast and lunch options, offers a variety of speciality oatmeals that are super sweet and super healthy.

The sunrise oatmeal contains all sorts of fresh berries, bananas and raisins topped with fresh steamed foam… OR you could get the one with nutella and espresso…Hey, it’s your day.
