By now, you’ve probably noticed that a fun night out with your friends is almost incomplete without late-night food adventures. Even if the night didn’t turn out exactly as you’d hoped, you could always turn to food as a consolation. Research confirms what we’ve all experienced: the more alcohol we drink, the hungrier we get.

Luckily for BU students, restaurants around campus do not disappoint when it comes to late night food options. Whether you find yourself stumbling back to campus at a late hour, up studying for an exam, or just in need of some really, really good food, you’re faced with a decision of where to satisfy your late-night cravings. Check out these 5 restaurants that BU students love to go to when stuck in this situation.

Otto

Pizza has become something of a staple for late night food everywhere. It’s the safe, efficient, and delicious option that we all love to turn to. Otto takes late-night snacking to the next level for pizza lovers. They have many mouthwatering options, including my personal favorite, pizza topped with roasted chicken, caramelized pears & fontina cheese. If you need more of a reason to check out Otto, take a look at their Instagram and be prepared to look at a whole lot of beautiful pies.

T. Anthony’s

Late night food

I remember the first time I went to T. Anthony’s like it was yesterday. Aside from the long line (sometimes out the door), I was greeted with loud music playing from their jukebox, drunk/loud/crying/dancing people scattered around the restaurant, and best of all, the aroma of their pizzas that I was so ready to eat. Anyone who’s been to T’s past midnight on a weekend knows the struggle of waiting in those long lines, but we can all agree that it’s more than worth it.

#SpoonTip: Try their Mozzarella sticks if you haven’t already. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Sunset Cantina

Classes started a week ago, have you been to sunset yet? ? @pmelnick

Chances are, if you’ve been to Sunset, you’ve seen or indulged in their nachos. Sunset is another popular option for late night eats and you can find it buzzing with activity on the weekends. It’s a prime option for watching sports games, getting drinks with friends, of course #THEMNACHOS.

Amsterdam Falafelshop

#tbt to @landmarkfestdc!! Talk about a masterful falafel topper ? @tessaroy

Amsterdam Falafel is underestimated, and doesn’t get as much attention as it should, probably because it’s the newest addition to the bunch. Sure, we all love pizza, especially late at night, but these falafel sandwiches are not to be ignored. If you’re ever in the mood for a little (healthier) break from pizza and nachos, I would recommend going to this Kenmore located restaurant- their late night food options, and grab some “frieten” with “peanutsaus” while you’re at it.

Raising Cane’s

It’s no mystery why people turn to Cane’s to take care of their late night cravings. From their  delicious fried chicken, fries and Texas toast, a meal at Cane’s will leave you nothing short of satisfied. And don’t forget about their mysterious secret Cane’s sauce; use it to perfect your Caniac.
