Soho has some of the best food, shopping, and activities in New York City. I run the foodie Instagram @f00dme, and am always on the lookout for the best and most photo worthy food in NYC. I have got you covered for the best brunch, dinner, and (of course) dessert in Soho. Read below to learn about the most instagrammable food in Soho, NYC!

Brunch

Sadelles

If you haven’t had one of these bagel brunches you’re missing out. Sadelles has great prices and great New York bagels. They have literal towers of bagels so you can build a salmon and caviar bagel sandwich if you’d like. Locals and foodie tourists alike love to visit Sadelles to try (and photograph) their famous bagels!

Boqueria

You can go to Boqueria for lunch and dinner, but boozy brunch is where it’s at. For $39 per person, you can have a Spanish feast complete with their famous tapas and churros con chocolate. Don’t worry, this includes bottomless mimosas and sangria. What’s not to love?

The Butcher’s Daughter

This place is often called the “vegetable slaughter house” which is both enticing and confusing. Nonetheless, it is both vegan and meat eater friendly. It is trendy enough that you’ll have to wait 45 minutes at peak time on the weekend, but I’d even dare to say that it’s worth it. I can personally vouch for the egg platter which has cheese, avocado, and a mountain of scrambled eggs. All of life's necessities!

Egg Shop

In case you need more than an egg platter to get your egg fix, egg shop is famous for its egg sandwiches. Whether you’re a bacon egg and cheese gal or a kale and feta gal, they’ve got it all. They even have chai french toast for those of you who crave a sweet brunch. Simple, popular, and delicious; egg shop is the place to be for a no fuss brunch.

Jack’s Wife Freda

You’ve definitely seen their colorful food on the gram and wondered if it actually tasted good. I’m here to assure you that the food tastes as good, if not better, than it looks. Plus, Jack and Freda were the chefs grandparents and he uses a fusion of their recipes from Israel and South Africa to inspire the cuisine. Their shakshuka, rosewater waffles, and breakfast bowls are favorites that have a cult like following. You’ve got to eat it to believe it!

Dessert

Dominique Ansel

I’m sure that you’ve heard of their famous cronuts, but you might not know that you can get one almost instantly, sans a line, if you go on a weekday. You can also get chocolate chip cookie shots, frozen s’mores, a blooming marshmallow flower hot chocolate, and other amazing new creations every season.

Milk & Cream Cereal Bar

When I think of my happy place, I think of milk & cream cereal bar. With a neon sign that says “treat yo self” and a wall of sugary cereals, there really is no happier place on Earth. More importantly, this cereal infused ice cream is the best I’ve ever had. Trust me, I have embarrassingly had a LOT of cereal infused ice cream.

Maman

At Maman, there are just too many sweet treats to try. If you’re a nutella lover, make sure to try the nutella beignet or the nutella brownie. For me, I’m partial to the banana bread or gluten free pumpkin bread. They also have the kind of cookies that are just begging to be instagrammed. If you’re like me, that’s a major plus!

New Territories

In the mood for one of those insane monster shakes that were all the rage a few years ago? New Territories is always pushing the envelope and coming up with creative and delicious milkshakes. Plus, they have bubble waffles and delicious artisan ice cream. Try honeycomb ice cream or the black tea and rose infused special. There’s always something innovative and mouthwatering to sample!

Chobani

One of my favorite places for a healthy-ish treat is the Chobani cafe in Soho. Forget acai bowls, greek yogurt bowls pack on the protein and nutrients! Plus, Chobani is always mixing it up and making yogurt fun. My favorite is the mango and avocado yogurt with lime, but the peanut butter and jelly bowl also holds a place in my heart.

Dinner

Pietro Nolita

Pietro nolita is both delicious and made for Instagram. Everything is pink as f**k (it even says so on their napkins) and the opportunities for social media are all around. Once you get enough pictures outside, step into the cutest little pink restaurant and get ready for pasta. They have lunch, brunch, dinner, and cocktails. Octopus and a lavender honey lemon cocktail anyone?

Seamore’s

In the mood for fish tacos? Duh! Chrissy Teigen swears by these fish tacos, and I happen to agree. Seamore’s has brunch, lunch, and dinner (doesn’t everywhere in NYC now?) but I love Seamore’s for a chill dinner filled with killer guacamole and al fresco dining when it’s nice out. Also, you can add avocado to anything which is a necessity!

Osteria Morini

Is anyone else in love with pasta? This photogenic restaurant is a must try! Start with a charcuterie board and make your way to truffle or squid ink pasta for the entree. End with some affogato (or more cheese, no judgment) for the perfect meal. I don’t know about you but my mouth is watering right now. Insider tip: on Monday’s after 9PM, pastas are only $10!

Carbone

Elevated Italian food in a cozy and unpretentious setting is what dreams are made of. Make sure to make a reservation because this is a prime date night spot. With an extensive wine menu and pasta to die for, you need to pay a visit! Whether you prefer linguini, angel hair, fettuccine, or rigatoni, (I could go on) you will be pleased with the selection.

Balaboosta

This Israeli food is served in a casual and elegant atmosphere that will surely make you a regular ASAP. Start by trying some of the best hummus you’ll ever have (don’t share) and then try some seafood or lamb. We can promise that you won’t be disappointed. Insider tip: they just recently introduced a brunch menu!
