The last weekend was an opportunity of every Chocoholics’ dream to come true, as Just Delhing and Villa Del brought back the Chocotella Fest, after its’ immense success back in May, 2017.
It was a celebration of love for Chocolate and Nutella, where all you had was food, desserts and shakes, made up of chocolate and well, everyone’s favourite, Nutella.
A host of cafes, like Woodbox and Momotarian from all over the city had come together to delve into creative experimentation on mainstream dishes. This scope for innovation made this Fest stand out. While some seemed excessively exciting, the others went slightly overboard.
There were Nutella Pizzas, Freakwaffles, Nutella Momos, Chocolate Golgappas, Nutella Potato Twisters, Nutella burgers.. the list seems pretty endless.
Even the mainstream dishes here, had a hint of innovation and experimentation, like a huge range of Freakshakes and Brownies.
Along with all of these they had ICE-CREAM. Well obviously, it had to be there, after all the dessert section is utterly incomplete without it!
And if one needed a break for all things sweet and prevent a sugar rush, they had mock-tails and beers too!
From students to food bloggers, everyone around us seemed to be having quite a great time, and anyway why wouldn't they?
And the beautiful decoration at Villa Del along with a Instagram Zone, was just the cherry on top of the cake.
All in all, the event was a perfect end to the long weekend for most Delhites and it just left us all the more excited for the next Chocotella Fest!
