Mouth watering

Eugene is a funky place filled with unexpected restaurant culture. It is hard for me to pick my absolute favorite, but Agate Alley is a place I highly recommend for foodies on a budget.

Agate Alley, just around the corner from Prince Puckler's, is located in a vibrant neighborhood on the outskirts of campus. This local restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner but the deciding point for me was their brunch. You can't go wrong with the classic eggs Benedict, but if you're looking to spice things up and go outside of your comfort zone, it's time to try out the Barbacoa Bennie with Poached eggs, shredded beef barbacoa, tomato, pickled red onion, five cheese Mornay sauce all on an  English muffin. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The icing on the cake is that the bennie with a generous side of hash browns is only $12.00.

You can't go wrong with anything you order. For dinner, I suggest the Black Bean Vurger or the house-made ravioli. This menu appeals to many different taste buds.

Agate Alley is very accommodating for large groups, perfect for a birthday dinner or brunch. I highly recommend this place for your 21st birthday brunch.

BLOODY MARY BAR is a must.

This Bloody Mary bar is only available on Saturday and Sunday's. And there are an endless amount of toppings including celery, bacon, pearled onions, horseradish, cucumbers, and pepperoncini to name a few. If you're not 21 but you still want to partake in the fun then get a virgin Bloody Mary!

This place turns the typical bacon and eggs breakfast into an Agate Alley brunch experience. The prices, flavors, and atmosphere are all worth waking up for.
