Mount Washington Tavern is your classic American restaurant located in Mount Washington Village, right near Loyola’s campus. The walls are decorated with Chesapeake Bay-inspired artwork which is all related to horse racing and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Monday’s are dedicated to food deals, food deals, and more food deals. From 4 pm to 6 pm, customers receive complimentary boneless chicken wings. 5 pm to 11 pm is dedicated to half off burgers and wings, as well as $15 for a full rack of ribs. I mean seriously, who could say no to that. In terms of drinks, each weekday at the tavern offers a $3.90 select draft and $5 house wine from 4 pm to 7 pm. In addition, on Monday’s they offer $5 margaritas to go with that. Lastly, Miller Lites are $2 from 8 pm to close.
TUESDAY
Tuesday’s at the tavern are for cocktails. Drinks are $4 from 8 pm to close, and they have their same weekday happy hour for the select draft and wine from 4 pm to 7 pm. The complimentary taco bar from 4 pm to 6 pm brings a new meaning to taco Tuesday when you can build your own.
WEDNESDAY
Steering away from “wine Wednesday,” Mount Washington Tavern offers $5 margarita’s all night instead. To pair with that, complimentary quesadillas are available between 4 pm and 6 pm (check out the link for other food pairings). To finally close the night, all local Maryland beers are half off from 7 pm to 11 pm.
THURSDAY
Bumping “wine Wednesday” to Thursday, the tavern offers half-price bottles of wine all night. During their typical happy hour from 4 pm to 7 pm for select draft and wine, they offer complimentary oysters from 4 pm to 6 pm.
FRIDAY
Mount Washington Tavern now hosts Purple Friday’s every Friday during the Baltimore Ravens’ season. Each Friday their menu changes with different lunch and drink specials for every game, so there’s always something new to look forward to.
