Lavender and Honey Kitchen is a mother and daughter baking company located in the heart of Winston-Salem, NC. It is about a 10 minute drive from Wake Forest University, and it is home to my favorite coffee and baked goods in the city! I wanted to share with you my three favorite items that you HAVE to try!
Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats
I cannot explain how amazing this is! The brown butter adds notes of caramel and sea salt that are not found in your average store bought Rice Krispie Treat. I thank Lavender and Honey for making these treats massive because your friends will definitely beg for a "small bite." Honestly, you might as well buy 3 more while you're at it.
Amish Cinnamon Roll
This Amish Cinnamon Roll comes from an heirloom recipe. It is Lavender and Honey's signature product and for good reason. I have to be honest - I am not a fan of cinnamon rolls, but when I tried theirs, I ate the whole thing in less than five minutes. It was so soft, and the icing is - simply put - addicting.
Cheddar and Rosemary Scone
The Cheddar and Rosemary Scone is divine. It is not too overpowering with either flavors and acts as the perfect small breakfast. I HIGHLY recommend pairing it with a latte and eating it in store on the back porch at Lavender and Honey. You will not regret it.
