Goldbely takes the cake when it come to online grocery shopping, literally. When I first opened Goldbely’s website, I was amazed by the variety of food it delivered from “big burly brownies” to gourmet lobster rolls. Some items have free shipping and you get $10 off your first order. I really wanted to order something so I gave into temptation and ordered a Create-Your-Own Killer Brownie Tin Pack.

After I ordered, I got my FedEx tracking number in my inbox and patiently waited for my four 1/3 pound brownies to arrive. Every few hours I would refresh to page to see where my brownies were. One hour my tin was in Indiana and the next time I checked it was already in Los Angeles. The next morning, I woke up to a package right on my doorstep.

Opening my box, I was impressed with the care that was put into packing my brownies. I was pleasantly surprised to see a cute Goldbely sticker along with a copy of my order above a shiny, silver bubble wrap package. Inside the packaging was my box of brownies along with an ice pack to keep my brownies from melting. After taking off the slip cover, I was finally able to open my glorious tin can.

These brownies are totally killin’ it. The German Chocolate one had a rich chocolate taste with a hint of coconut, almonds and pecans. Since it was so big, I couldn’t finish the brownie without needing a big gulp of water. In hindsight, I probably should have prepared a full glass of milk. Instead, I decided to tackle the next brownie, the Salted Caramel Killer Brownie. So. much. gooey. caramel. goodness.

Sadly, I was too full to try my Brookie Killer Brownie (don’t eat brownies before lunch, not smart) but so far I’m extremely satisfied with my experience with Goldbely and Killer Brownies. I would definitely order these brownies for any of my chocolate-loving friends. But be careful, they have a lot of extra ingredients so check on your friend’s allergies or else these brownies really will be killer.
