Renee Marinez

Taft's made the list because it doubles as a restaurant. This bar-restaurant is family friendly during the day, while it serves up smoked wings and tri-tip steak sliders. At night, Taft's transforms into a lively destination for young professionals. It has three floors with a bar on each level and a different atmosphere per elevation.

The bar on the bottom floor throws it back to the 1920's with a speakeasy feel. Moving up, the main floor has several televisions to for the sports bar feel. The very top floor is open and has a separate lounge area with couches and chairs designated for individuals who are drinking.

50 West Brewing Company (Downtown)

They offer picnic tables for dining in and the menu is full of delectable dishes to munch on while you taste their handcrafted beers.

Something special about this brewery is that it offers several outdoor group activities, such as: cycling, canoeing, and beach volleyball tournaments. This setting is very up and coming for young professionals and college students as it plays up being active and rewarding your athletic endeavors with a fine beer.

Rhinegeist Brewery (Over the Rhine)

We saved the best for last with the Rhinegeist Brewery. Resembling a warehouse, the floor plan is open with so much room for activities. This location has 25,000 square feet of open space. Not only does Rhinegeist host events like yoga and jousting matches, but It also offers games like cornhole and ping pong.

Its picnic tables sit visitors while they taste the different beers and visitors are, in fact, encouraged to bring their own food. Finally, they have a rooftop bar with a great view of Cincinnati.

As this list concludes, I'd like for you to keep a few things in mind. Don't judge a beer by it's color. You never know, the flavor may leave you pleasantly surprised. More importantly, please drink responsibly.

#SpoonTip: When you're tasting beer, always pour it into a glass. Then, look at it, swirl it around, smell it, take a sip, and let the flavor sink into your taste buds. Now you're tasting beer like a pro!
