An unlimited pancake feed with just about every topping you can dream of. Yes, you read that right. Unlimited pancakes. For those who don’t attend this event annually, DHOP or Delta House of Pancakes is a philanthropy event put on by the ladies of Tri Delta at Boise State University.

Sisters of this sorority will be flipping up endless pancakes for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by donating all the proceeds earned from ticket sales. Last year, the Tri Delta chapter on the BSU campus successfully raised a whopping $3,578.75. Hundreds of students, Greek community members, families, and faculty attend DHOP to support Tri Delta's philanthropy fundraising goals.

It costs $2.4 million dollars a day to operate St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tri Delta is one of the top partners for this hospital and is on their way way to meeting their goal of $60 million dollars in 10 years - the largest single commitment by a St. Jude partner. Funds raised go to help operate the hospital and find cures for childhood cancer.

Tri Delta's Philanthropy Chairman, Jenna Nathan stated, "My favorite part of the event is seeing how many people come out to support Tri Delta and St. Jude. Last year the line was constantly growing and everyone was really excited to get pancakes."

Pancakes for the kids. The event will be on Friday, April 14th from 8 pm – 11:30 pm, in the Student Union dining area. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased for $5 from any member in the chapter and during the week of April 10th – 14th in the quad. Or $7 cash at the the door. There will also be free parking in Lincoln parking garage.

One should expect delicious pancakes made by members, entertainment, prizes, a fun environment, and supportive community members at DHOP. This year the event is Dr. Suess themed. We can't wait to show our support for this fundraiser and eat endless pancakes, of course.
