Let me preface this article by letting you guys know I'm a die-hard meat eater, so when I go out to eat, vegan restaurants tend to be pretty far down the list. That said, after popping into the all-vegan restaurant by CHLOE. for brunch a few weeks ago, I could definitely see myself being in the mood for one of their vegan burgers over a meat one more often that I would have ever thought possible.

When You're Hungry, but in a Rush

A lot of times when we're in a rush, food options can be limited in the grab and go section. A perk of by CHLOE. is that it delivers fast counter service, so you can choose to either sit and leisurely eat and hang around, or you can opt to still sit, but eat at an accelerated pace. The menu also features a whole section dedicated to specific items that are perfect if you don't have any time and need your food to-go, such as the Sesame Ginger Soba Noodles and the Green Hummus.

You Wouldn't Even Know it's Vegan

The beauty of by CHLOE., especially for us meat-eaters, is that you are not painfully aware that you aren't eating meat. For example, when I went I decided to have the classic burger which substitutes a beef patty for a tempeh-lentil-chia-walnut patty. Naturally, I was apprehensive of what the texture would be like when I bit into it and was nervous that while it would look like a burger, it certainly would not taste like one. That was simply not the case. The burger, which was topped off with their homemade beet ketchup, far exceeded my expectations in the way that it so closely mimicked the classic burger taste, but yet was still so distinctly different (and healthier!).

There's Something for Every Craving

Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, by CHLOE. has you got covered. With an array of menu items ranging from more standard items such as The Greek Salad or Kale Caesar to more adventurous options like The Guac Burger or Pesto Meatball Sandwich, by CHLOE. has options for everyone. The menu also highlights a number of smoothies and juices for those looking for something lighter. And of course no meal is complete without dessert to finish it off, so I highly recommend checking out their bakery section (I typically run for the chocolate chip cookies).

Vegan or not, by CHLOE. works hard to curate a menu that has something for everyone. Don't be wary just because it's an all vegan restaurant—sometimes it's good to put a twist the classics.
