When you think of New Paltz, you may think of its haunted cameo in the CW’s first season of Supernatural…but the only thing supernatural about this place is its super sweet munchies.

The multitude of candy shops, chocolatiers, and diners located in and around the village of New Paltz make it the perfect home for any sweet tooth. But, what about those late nights? The ones spent parading up-and-down Main Street with a group of friends looking for a sweet and decadent indulgence?  All of that confusion ends here.

For my dedicated dessert-lovers, here are New Paltz’s top seven sweetest snacks for after midnight.

1. Banana’s Foster French Toast–B-Side Grill

Strawberries and velvety, vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream on a warm waffle. Can’t beat a classic. Don’t forget to check out B-Side Grill’s coupon of the month!

6. Cannoli–Pasquale’s Pizza

Sweet and creamy filling, engulfed in fried dough. It’s impossible to have only one, that’s why they’re called “cannolis.” Enjoy responsibly.

7. Chick’n & Waffles–B-Side Grill

The perfect combination of the infamous duo of salty and sweet. Crispy chicken tenders and a warm Belgian waffle with a side of real maple syrup. Second brunch, anyone?
