Starbucks Is Discontinuing These 13 Drinks

Starbucks is bringing a major refresh to its menu this spring. As a part of the Starbucks Coffee Company makeover, 13 drinks are being discontinued, including iced, hot, and blended beverages. This recent announcement has left loyal customers frantic and wondering what drinks are Starbucks discontinuing? Is it the Strawberry Acai Refresher? The Pink Drink? The Oat Milk Shaken Espresso? Or maybe the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino? Either way, the Starbucks menu is slowly shrinking, so you might want to get your hands on these items before they disappear or start exploring the menu for a new drink of choice.

Which Starbucks drinks are being discontinued this spring?

In a statement released to TODAY.com, Starbucks said it will be discontinuing 13 menu items starting March in order “to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence.”

The first item going away is the Iced Matcha Lemonade.  Next are the Espresso Frappuccino and the Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino. If you’re still looking for the hint of sweet espresso, Starbucks suggests you order the Coffee Frappuccino instead. This blended beverage contains coffee, milk, and ice, and you can always customize it with signature syrups, and more espresso.

The White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino is disappearing too, but with Starbucks’ Mocha Frappuccino, it’ll feel like it never left. This blended alternative comes with whole milk and mocha sauce and is topped with whipped cream.

The Java Chip Frappuccino is also leaving the menu. In its place, Starbucks recommends the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. It is the perfect mix of coffee, milk, ice, whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and heaping layers of chocolate cookie crumble.

Other drinks leaving the menu are the Chai Creme Frappuccinno, Caramel Ribbon Crunch Creme Frappuccino, Double Chocolaty Chip Creme Frappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Creme Frappuccino, and the White Chocolate Creme Frappuccino. To some customers, these flavors are going to be irreplaceable, but Starbucks suggests getting the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino instead. With this option, you can customize to your heart’s content and add endless amounts of drizzle, syrups, crumble, and coffee to make your ideal sweet treat.

The white hot chocolate will be leaving the Starbucks menu this coming spring, but you can get the original hot chocolate instead and substitute in mocha or white chocolate sauce.

Starbucks is also removing the Royal English Breakfast Latte, which contains hints of floral flavors throughout. Instead, they recommend customers order the London Fog Latte instead, which contains lavender flavors, sweet vanilla and is topped with frothed milk for an innovative spin on Earl Grey Tea.

Last but not least, we say goodbye to the Honey Almond Milk Flat White. Instead, Starbucks recommends getting the classic Flat White, which includes a smooth blend of espresso and steamed whole milk. But if you do need that caffeine boost, feel free to add more espresso.
