No matter how much fun and warmth the summer brings, one of the most exciting things about the blistering heat is the upcoming sanctuary in fall. Soon enough, there will be fun sweaters, colorful falling leaves, scary movie nights, and pumpkin spice lattes. The wait for the classic autumn beverage is not much longer. Starbucks has officially confirmed not only the date the pumpkin drinks will come back, but also what some of the fall menu entails.
When is the Pumpkin Spice Latte coming back for 2025?
Starbucks announced that the Pumpkin Spice Latte will be returning to stores around the country on August 26. The drink is made with Starbucks Signature Espresso as a base, with steamed milk and the wonderful mix of real pumpkin sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. It’s topped with whipped cream and spices, and can be drunk hot, iced, or blended.
What other new drinks are on the fall menu at Starbucks?
So far, Starbucks has only announced one new drink this fall. Customers can anticipate the new Pecan Oatmilk Cortado. In case you don’t know, a cortado consists of an equal ratio of espresso and steamed milk, making a smaller, smooth caffeine beverage. Starbucks makes their cortados with three ristretto shots (more short and dense shots of espresso than regular espresso shots) of Starbucks Blonde Espresso with steamed whole milk into an eight-ounce short cup. This new menu item will likely be this with nutty pecan syrup mixed in.
Returning pumpkin favorites coming this fall are the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, made with Starbucks creamy and sweet pumpkin spice cold foam. Want to try something more nutty? The returning Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte offers tastes of pecan pie with Blonde Espresso, oatmilk, pecan syrup, sweet cold foam, and finished with pecan crunch topping. Last year, Starbucks had a line of apple inspired drinks which interestingly are not returning. The Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato were not a part of Starbucks announcement.
What food items are on the fall menu at Starbucks?
Like the cortado, Starbucks has only announced one new food item so far. If you love savory breakfasts, munch on the upcoming Italian Sausage Egg Bites to balance out the sweet Pumpkin Spice Latte. Like the apple drinks, the Baked Apple Croissant from last year will not be returning.
What grocery store products does Starbucks have this fall?
