What Your 2025 Beli Plated Says About You

With the new year approaching, it seems like every app is dropping yearly recaps. From Spotify to YouTube to Snapchat, users can see what they’ve been up to for the past 12 months. It only makes sense that Beli had to get in on the action with its own version. Beli has been one of the most popular apps of 2025 — especially for foodies. It lets you review new restaurants that you try, mark favorite dishes, and bookmark spots you want to try in the future. Yesterday, the app dropped its Beli Plated 2025, giving users a recap on all the new places they’ve ranked, foods they’ve enjoyed, and fellow users they’ve eaten with.

What is Beli Plated?

Beli Plated is the app’s way of recapping all of your activity on it for the last year. It rounds up all of the places you’ve ranked, considering how many times you’ve visited, what cuisines you’ve had, and who you’ve eaten with. Like other recaps, such as Spotify Wrapped, it’s broken into different sections. Beli shows you your top five restaurants of the year, top five moments (like when you rated a meal a 10.0 or ranked your 50th spot), a ranking of your top cuisines, and the total number of restaurants you’ve tried. It also tells you how many minutes you spent dining out this year, as well as some assumptions about you based on your dining habits in the category titled “unfortunately I  do love.” Tapping through the recap feels like eating at all your favorite spots all over again.

You’re loyal.

If you visited your top five restaurants multiple times, Beli was sure to let you know. There’s no shame in being a restaurant repeater — you know what you like. This just means that you’re super loyal. You have your core spots that you frequent, and you rarely ever change your order. I visited my top restaurant over 20 times this year, so there’s no judgement here. You’re going into 2026 with the same favorite dishes, and you’re not ashamed of ranking the same spot twice — or even more.

You’re adventurous.

On the other hand, if you tried a bunch of new spots this year, you’re definitely adventurous. Maybe you made it to the top percent of users in your area (I’m proudly a top 5% Boston diner). If you achieved over 100 new rankings this year, consider yourself someone who takes risks when it comes to dining — especially if you’ve tried a bunch of new cuisines as well. Beli probably told you that you love “trying new spots like it’s your job” or “discovering a hidden gem,” meaning you’re definitely an adventurous eater and always looking for the next new thing to try. Here’s to trying even more new dishes in 2026!

You’re a critic.

If your Beli Plated said that you love “pretending you’re a food critic” or “ranking everywhere you eat,” take it as a compliment. You’re someone that takes food reviewing seriously. Whether you hand out 10s generously or have a harsher approach to ranking, you are committed to letting the world know your opinions when it comes to the meals you eat. You include high quality photos of your meals, letting the rest of Beli know exactly what they’re going to get. If you get a less than stellar meal, you’re letting your Beli followers know. In another life, you were probably a food critic, but for now, you’re just a committed Beli user.

You’re a social eater.

Beli made sure to highlight users’ “Food Squad” in its recap, letting users know which of their friends they’ve dined out with the most this year. If all nine seats of your squad are filled with friends you’ve eaten with this year, you are a social eater. Meals aren’t just fuel to you — they’re a chance to socialize with your friends. Whether it’s over dessert at a bakery or sushi at a Japanese restaurant, you consider eating a chance to catch up with old pals, yap with your besties, or make new friendships. If you have someone on your squad that you’ve eaten with over ten times, that’s your Beli bestie for life.
