What Is Christmas Cookie Milk & Why Is It All Over TikTok?

Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is…cookie-flavored milk? We all know Santa’s favorite meal is milk and cookies, but the internet’s new favorite treat takes Santa’s meal and turns it into a holiday drink. Christmas cookie milk. Now you can have your cookies and drink them too with this viral milk that’s meant to taste like, well, cookies. A couple stores have this speciality holiday milk, but the best version is not easy to grab, leaving most people wondering, what does the Christmas cookie milk actually taste like? Users on social media have the answer, but they might make those of us who can’t get the Christmas cookie milk pretty jealous.

What is Christmas cookie milk?

Christmas cookie milk appears to be trying to mimic the classic milk and Christmas cookies combo by flavoring milk with cookies. Stew Leonard’s describes its Christmas cookie milk as “a sweet, creamy milk that has the same flavor as a sugar cookie that’s been dunked in milk.” The sweet milk treat can be enjoyed on its own, but the grocery store also recommends adding it to hot chocolate or coffee. The Christmas cookie milk also comes in its own special glass bottle for customers who want a memento of their good memories made with the limited-edition milk.

Who sells Christmas cookie milk?

The Christmas cookie milk that people are falling in love with across TikTok is from Stew Leonard’s, which is bad news for anyone who doesn’t live in Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York since those are the only states with the grocery store. Maybe Santa can bring us out-of-staters some for Christmas?

However, Target and Walmart might be performing a Christmas miracle by releasing their own Christmas cookie milks. According to @Markie_devo, Target will soon be dropping “Milk for Santa,” sugar-cookie flavored milk from their brand Favorite Day, and Walmart will be releasing Dairy Pure’s “Santa’s Milk.” While Stew’s milk is out now, Target’s and Walmart’s don’t appear to have hit all stores yet. TikTok user @limonchelleo reported finding some but said they had to hunt for it at a couple of stores.

What is social media saying about the Christmas cookie milk?

Since most people can’t try the milk for themselves, the people of the internet are giving us a virtual taste of the dessert milk — and accidentally making us totally jealous by talking about how fantastic the Christmas cookie milk is. TikTok user @queenjennnnnn reported that it tastes like “cereal milk” and “vanilla frosting.”

Another user, @jameytsmith2, backed up its deliciousness, reporting that “It tastes like milk and cookies, the bottom of it,” and highlighted its addictiveness, saying, “I’d drink so much of this.” Commenters shared the extreme enthusiasm, with @britishchick97 saying, “I just drove 3 hours to CT and 3 hours back for this milk today since it was the only store in stock!🤣👌.” If that isn’t evidence of how good this milk’s delectable-ness, I don’t know what is. The excitement was coupled with lament of those who aren’t able to grab a bottle, with many commenters posting “cries in” followed by their state. So…can our Christmas shopping include an hours-long roadtrip?
