Happy festival season! The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place every April in Indio, California, and this year it falls over the weekends of April 11 and 18. Known for drawing in some of the most popular celebs and influencers, Coachella is a two-weekend-long concert in the desert, serving endless performances from everyone’s favorite artists. The festival is known for recruiting A-list musicians to headline, and this year the lineup features Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott.
Not to be overshadowed by the music, the food lineup seems to outdo itself every year. Coachella hosts food vendors from both the East and West coast, featuring tons of different cuisines and dietary restriction-friendly options. On top of the awesome meals you can try in between sets, there’s also an extensive drink menu featuring fun cocktails and high-quality spirits that you can’t miss during the three-day experience. Coachella may be mainly for the music, but the foodies of your friend group will definitely not be bored with the food and drink lineup for 2025.
Drinks At Coachella
Block Party is an LA-staple known for Insta-worthy cocktails, so don’t forget to get a selfie at their infamous bar in Indio Central Market. Some speciality drinks featured in their stand last year were the Super Rich Kids cocktail (banana vodka, creme de coconut, pineapple, and orange blend with banana chips on top), the Sour Cherry Negroni (London dry gin, Campari, Martini Rubino, crème de noyaux, and sour cherry juice), and the Watermelon Mezcalita (mezcal espadín, watermelon, lime, agave, and jalapeño).
For the tequila lovers, Codigo 1530 Margarita Bar is serving the official tequila of Coachella in their classic and watermelon margs. In addition, Mixteca serves up some of the freshest agave spirits straight from the West Village of NYC. Their desert speakeasy vibe draws foodies in as the goal is to find the hidden bar somewhere on Coachella’s grounds.
Continuing the secret speakeasy theme, Golden Hour is another hidden bar on this year’s Coachella food and drink lineup. Festival goers are encouraged to search for the “secret cocktail hideaway” and enjoy unique drinks that have yet to be advertised to the public.
Surrounding some serious social media buzz, The New Bar is Coachella’s first ever non-alcoholic festival partner. Located at the Terrace and 12 Peaks VIP (by Main Stage), this spot will be serving everything one would find at a regular bar, but without alcohol. In addition to these virgin cocktails, The New Bar will be selling canned drinks such as Apero spritzes, cosmos, margaritas, and mojitos, all made alcohol-free. You can also shop their exclusive Coachella collection online if you can’t make it out to Indio to try these bevs irl.
For the caffeine fiends, be sure to find Everbloom Coffee for an Indio-based cafe vibe or Menotti’s for rich, top-tier coffee. A more unique experience can be found at The International Delight Flavor Studios, which offers the chance to choose your favorite International Delight creamer and a flavor of cold foam to create your own custom coffee. And the best part is that while baristas are mixing your drink, you can star in your very own music video! White Sparrow Coffee elevates your typical iced coffee experience by blending innovative ingredients and using specialized barista techniques to make fun, surprising drinks. No matter which spot you choose, there is a place for everyone to satisfy their coffee cravings at Coachella.
Needing a boost of energy? The Slurpee Truck in Camping Village is serving all their classic slurpee flavors, but in honor of the Saturday headliners, they created a new Punk Bunny and Green Day collab flavor called KERPLUNK! KANDY GRAPE. Welcome to Paradise, indeed!
