Wendy’s Is Declaring November 15 Frosty Day

I’ll be honest here. I’ve never been one of those people who dip their fries into a frosty. The whole sweet-and-salty combo just doesn’t do it for me in that format, but when it comes to their Frosty lineup? I’m all in!

My dad and I have shared a long-standing love for snickerdoodles, and not the fancy bake sale kind. We preferred the simple, soft ones that came in a box from Walmart’s bakery section. When Crumbl adds snickerdoodles to their weekly lineup, grabbing one is a no-brainer. And when my dad did find time to bake some, the whole house would fill with that dreamy cinnamon-sugar scent that practically feels like a warm hug. It only makes sense that when Wendy’s announced its first-ever Frosty Day and revealed a brand-new Snickerdoodle Cookie Frosty Fusion and Frosty Swirl, that I’d be making plans to show up, spoon in hand.

What is Frosty Day?

Mark your calendars! November 15 officially belongs to the Frosty. Wendy’s has declared it Frosty Day, an annual celebration of the frozen treat that’s been part of its menu since day one. It’s not just any date, either. The holiday lines up with the anniversary of the very first Wendy’s opening back in 1969, making it a sweet nod to over 50 years of Frosty-fueled memories.

According to Wendy’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Lindsay Radkoski, the Frosty represents everything the brand stands for: tradition, innovation, and a little bit of nostalgia in every spoonful. The original Frosty was one of founder Dave Thomas’s first five menu items, and while plenty of fast food joints have tried to replicate its creamy, dreamy texture, nothing really compares to the real deal.

This year, Wendy’s is inviting fans everywhere to celebrate the occasion by raising a spoon (or a fry, if that’s your thing) and showing some love to the dessert that’s been making memories since the late ‘60s.

How can fans celebrate?

If you don’t want to wait until November 15 to celebrate, Wendy’s has you covered. Fans can kick off the festivities early with not one, but two snickerdoodle-inspired Frosty creations, and both sound like a cinnamon-sugar dream come true.

First up is the Snickerdoodle Cookie Frosty Fusion, which takes your choice of a vanilla or chocolate Frosty and swirls it with a sweet snickerdoodle sauce, and then mixes in chunks of actual snickerdoodle cookies. According to Wendy’s, “Milk and cookies have evolved to their final and most perfect form,” and honestly? They might be onto something.

Even renowned foodie, @snackolator, had plenty of positive things to say about the frozen treat.

“This is so cinnamony and good! I don’t know if you can hear the crunch,” he said with glee in his review. “I paid for extra sauce and snickerdoodle cookies because I wanted the full snickerdoodle experience, and it delivers,” he added.

If you’re more of a smooth-and-simple kind of dessert fan, the Snickerdoodle Frosty Swirl is your move. It’s available with a vanilla or chocolate base and is topped and swirled with the same sweet snickerdoodle sauce, just without the cookie pieces. Either way, it’s cinnamon-sugar bliss in Frosty form.

Where can I get the Snickerdoodle Frosty Fusions and Frosty Swirls?

If you’re already dreaming about cinnamon-sugar perfection, you’ll want to act fast. The Snickerdoodle Frosty lineup is available for a limited time only at participating Wendy’s locations across the U.S., though the chain hasn’t exactly said how long that’ll be so consider this your official sign to move.

You can grab yours however you like: through the Wendy’s app, website, drive-thru, or just by stopping inside your nearest Wendy’s. Just don’t wait too long. These cozy Frosty flavors won’t stick around forever. As for me? I’ll be securing one ASAP and fully accepting my fate of slipping into a cinnamon-sugar coma.
