You Need To Try TuCha’s Viral Fruit Desserts

I’ve always had a sweet tooth, and am often surprised that my teeth haven’t fallen out yet. As a kid, I was all about chocolate, but these days, fruity flavors have my heart. Hi-Chew? Dangerous. Stauffer’s Lemon Snaps? Can’t resist. If a bakery stocks fruit-flavored macarons, you might as well cut up my credit card. That’s why when I learned about TuCha, Los Angeles’s latest viral bakery sensation, my sugar cravings went into overdrive. From whimsical drinks to dreamy desserts, TuCha is serving treats that look as good as they taste, and honestly, it’s giving me a serious case of food FOMO from across the country.

What is TuCha?

TuCha is more than just a bakery. It’s also a cultural experience. Founded by Hong Kong natives in the U.S., the shop blends the elegance of Eastern tea traditions with bold Western flavors, creating a menu that feels both classic and fresh. Their name reflects a balance, with Tu representing tea in its raw, original essence, while Cha symbolizes refinement. Together, they embody TuCha’s mission of honoring tradition while embracing innovation. To bring this vision to life, TuCha teamed up with Catherine Zhang, a celebrated dessert chef and the winner of Season 2 of Zumbo’s Just Desserts. The partnership has clearly paid off, with the result being a lineup of desserts and drinks that are just as stunning as they are delicious while thoughtfully crafted with premium ingredients to celebrate the art of indulgence.

What is TuCha going viral for?

TuCha’s desserts aren’t just food, they’re heart. Scroll through TikTok and you’ll see why these hyper-realistic treats have the internet swooning. One fan favorite from the menu is “My Man Go,” a vibrant mango-shaped tropical chocolate shell filled with fresh mango, a crème fraîche mango mousse, and hazelnut praline crunch.

TikToker @jazzy.tingles raved, “The hazelnut praline is absolutely delicious. It’s basically like biting into a proper mango with a chocolate shell.”

Another popular choice is “Devil Fruit.” It’s a deep-purple creation that looks like it came straight from an anime universe. Its striking exterior hides layers of rich berry flavor, perfectly balancing the tartness and sweetness in every bite. @jazzy.tingles adds, “You can get that blackberry coulis, and the mousse is really light. I mean, you can see how soft it is.”

Replying to @tittybittyyellowpolkadot⚠️Misophonia alert-eating sounds⚠️ The first viral fruit desserts flopped… but @Tu Cha? TikToker @jonathan.reule, who tried the desserts so his wife could live vicariously through him, couldn’t stop praising the experience. “I can see why these are viral. They are sweet but not too sweet. I thought the cream was gonna be really dense, but it’s not. It’s a very light snack and the chocolate itself, the shell, kinda crumbles, so you don’t feel like you’re breaking your teeth to get into it.” Even his son couldn’t resist stealing a bite.

The magic doesn’t stop there. TuCha’s menu also features “Just Peachy,” a picture-perfect peach with a creamy fruity mousse inside; “Berry3,” a vibrant trio of berry flavors in a stunning textured shell; “Citron,” a tangy lemon-inspired treat with a zesty kick; and lastly, “Dubai Pistachio,” a luxurious green heart-shaped matcha sponge cake that celebrates the nutty richness of pistachio with an elegant twist. Each dessert brings something new to the table, proving that TuCha is all about creativity, flavor, and unforgettable presentation.

How do I get my hands on these viral treats?

If you’re dreaming of these edible masterpieces, there’s a catch. You’ll have to visit TuCha in person. The bakery currently doesn’t offer nationwide shipping, so unless you’re lucky enough to live near one of their Los Angeles locations (or plan a trip), the experience will remain TikTok-only for now. For locals, the best move is to place a pickup order online to skip the long lines these viral sensations attract. Trust us, these desserts are so popular, they sell out fast.
