Along with Santa from the North Pole, Trader Joe’s Christmas items are officially here. Like many other grocery stores and chains, Trader Joe’s shelves are beginning to fill up with Christmas spirit. Now that we’re done with pumpkin spice everything and we ate our Thanksgiving leftovers, it’s time to get every eggnog, gingerbread, and peppermint-flavored snack the holiday season has to offer. Here’s what we know about the current Trader Joe’s Christmas items, including returning fan-favorite and brand-new additions. Plus, make sure to stop at TJ’s for all of your hosting needs, whether it’s a delicious wine, a good cheese for your charcuterie board, or frozen waffles for hungover mornings. (No shame, we won’t judge if you’ve had a few too many holiday spirits.)
What does Trader Joe’s have available for Christmas right now?
Holiday items seem to be popping up at Trader Joe’s stores left and right, with more drops anticipated throughout December. In addition to the beloved Advent Calendars, classic Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s, and eggnog, TJ’s is also debuting several brand-new products, many of which have already been spotted on shelves and are listed here.
Jingle Jangle
Yes, the most exciting time of the year has come! Jingle Jangle (the coveted mix of chocolate candy treats) is back on Trader Joe’s shelves for $9.99. These tins tend to sell out pretty fast, so call your store ahead of time or ask an employee when they expect new shipments to come through if your store runs out.
If you don’t score the full tin, you might be able to get your hands on the Jingle Jangle Pretzel Twists or a small bag of the chocolate mix, Jingly Jangly.
Gingerbread House Kit
Looking for an activity to do with your friends or fam? There’s nothing more merry than building a gingerbread house with your favorite people. This kit includes everything you need, including the house walls, icing, candy, and even little animals to add to your sweet project. For less than $10, this is a Christmas essential.
Holiday Baton Cookies
These crispy, light baton cookies are so easy to eat. You can score a Baton Lover’s Quartet at TJ’s as well as their Candy Cane Batons.
Cocoa Truffles Collection
What’s a holiday party without delicious chocolates? Sure, Trader Joe’s has delicious candy offerings available year-round, but these cocoa truffles (from France) only arrive once a year. Additionally, you can secure the seasonal Chocolate Passport if you’re obsessed with a good chocolate bar.
Grump Tree
Trader Joe’s is the ultimate Christmas decor destination if you love fresh wreaths, mistletoe bundles, and Poinsettias. Additionally, TJ’s is famous for its little Grump Tree offerings.
Candy Cane Body Scrub
Trader Joe’s aisles are lined with seasonal snacks, but they also are ready to go with Christmas-themed bath and body products. If you want to smell peppermint-fresh, grab a package of the Candy Cane Body Scrub and some body butter to pair. They will make the perfect stocking stuffers.
Peppermint Crunch Popcorn
If you love the Peppermint Pretzel Slims (which are also currently available), you will adore the new Peppermint Crunch Popcorn. This sweet and salty treat features popcorn coated in white and dark chocolate with a dusting of peppermint. You might just need to keep a bag for yourself.
O’Nog
Lactose intolerance shouldn’t stop you from enjoying a Christmas staple, which is why TJ’s is bringing back O’Nog — a non-dairy, oat-based beverage that’s both dairy and lactose-free and spiced with nutmeg and ginger — for another holiday season. If you’re one of the lucky ones who can tolerate lactose, regular Eggnog is also back at Trader Joe’s.
Non-Dairy Gingerbread Oat Creamer
If you’re non-dairy but eggnog isn’t your thing, Trader Joe’s new Gingerbread-flavored Oat Creamer may be for you.
Astounding Multi-Flavor Chocolate-Covered Pretzels
Along with some ‘nog, TJ’s is bringing back the fan-favorite chocolate-covered pretzels covered in sweet coatings and chocolates covered with drizzles, sprinkles, and other toppings. It includes 4 delicious different flavors that are packaged separately. Flavors include Peanut Butter Candy with mini chocolate gems and Dark Chocolate with peppermint candy, making for a fun sweet treat for yourself, or hostess gift for a friend.
Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies
These slightly soft gingerbread sandwich cookies are filled with vanilla cream and are the perfect light bite to pair with hot coffee or tea.
Gingerbread Cake & Cookie Mix
If you want to make delicious gingerbread loaves or cookies yourself, this mix will make you look like a baking pro.
Chocolate Peppermint Loaf & Baking Mix
Sweet cool peppermint meets rich chocolate flavor in this crowd-pleasing baking mix. Thanks to Trader Joe’s, it couldn’t be easier to ring in the holiday’s best flavor combination with a delicious, moist loaf or impressive crinkle cookies.
Gingerbread Cookie Mug Hangers
They’re back! These spiced gingerbread cookies are topped with sugar and fit perfectly on the rim of a mug. This cute and delicious holiday treat is the perfect accompaniment for hot chocolate, a warm blanket, and a classic Christmas film.
Hot Cocoa Polar Bear
This white and milk chocolate hot cocoa bomb filled with milk chocolate drops and marshmallows might be one of TJ’s cutest items ever. It’s great for simple sweet beverage at home, or it can make for a delicious stocking stuffer.
Jingle Jangle For Dogs
According to @traderjoesnew on Instagram, your pup can now get in on the Jingle Jangle fun, sans chocolate. Bring some cheer into the home with these new dog treats, which feature different shapes such as bones and stars, plus flavors of peanut butter, bacon, and carob. Now that Jingle Jangle dog treats are on the menu, your furry friend will want to be on the nice list this year.
Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s Ice Cream
Forget Pumpkin Palooza, this ice cream is the best Trader Joe’s seasonal product, change my mind. Each pint of this delicious, decadent dessert features swirls cool peppermint and vanilla ice creams, plus a ribbon of chocolate fudge and substantial chunks of — you guessed it — Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s Cookies.
Cranberry Butter Cookies
This remix of an original French butter cookie with sweetened dried cranberries and cinnamon is a great snack for this holiday season, and a fun holiday party favor or potluck dessert to add to the Christmas spirit.
Peppermint Hold the Cones Mini Ice Cream Cones
These tiny chocolate cones are filled with chocolate, sweet peppermint ice cream, and topped with a chocolate shell. They may be mini, but these ice cream cones pack major holiday cheer.
Holiday Cheer Unexpected Cheddar Spread
Trader Joe’s Holiday Cheer Unexpected Cheddar Cheese Spread is back for the season. This fruity and savory spread made with the fan favorite Unexpected Cheddar cheese, sweet cranberry bits, cinnamon and a touch of Riesling wine for a spreadable, dippable, delectable holiday appetizer.
When do Christmas and holiday products normally arrive at Trader Joe’s?
As of December 2, Trader Joe’s has officially shared via the Fearless Flyer that their stores are open for Christmas and holiday business, though many products popped up in stores in November. You can find all of their holiday items, including New Year’s Eve essentials and Hanukkah offerings here.
Stay on the lookout for updates or ask an employee at your local TJ’s to know when new products will be arriving this holiday season.
