The Sonic Pickle Menu Is Coming Back

Sonic truly has my heart, and my order history can prove it. Whether I’m pulling through the drive-thru for their premium chicken bites or hitting up happy hour for a blue raspberry slush with Nerds (a combo that will never be beaten), Sonic always delivers on flavor and fun. So naturally, when I heard they’re teaming up with Grillo’s pickles for a new “Big Dill Meal” this July, I basically turned into the pickle emoji. Yeah, that excited.

What’s the big dill?

Sonic is sliding into summer with a brand-new collab that’s kind of a big dill. Dropping sometime in July according to @snackolator on Instagram, the Big Dill Meal is basically a love letter to pickle fans, thanks to a team-up with cult-fav Grillo’s Pickles. At the heart of it all is the Big Dill Sonic Smasher, a burger stacked with Grillo’s hot chips (aka crunchy, spicy pickles) and smothered in a dilly ranch sauce that’s got tang for days.

But Sonic didn’t stop at the main course. This meal also comes with pickle-seasoned tots or groovy fries, and, brace yourself, a Pickle Slush called the Picklerita, complete with pickle-flavored bursting bubbles. It’s giving briny, it’s giving bold, and honestly it might just be the chaotic summer refresh we didn’t know we needed. If you’re someone who hoards pickles and treats them like a side dish, this one is definitely calling your name.

So, when is the Sonic pickle menu dropping?

Right now, Sonic hasn’t dropped an official release date, but according to fellow foodies like @snackolator on Instagram, the Big Dill Meal is confirmed to be hitting drive-thrus sometime in July. If you’re like me and plan your summer snack runs like a social calendar, just know this one’s worth keeping on your radar.

While we wait for more details, here’s what we do know: this isn’t Sonic’s first rodeo when it comes to limited-time flavor bombs, so there’s a good chance they’ll roll out the green carpet for the Big Dill Meal with possible early access through the Sonic app like they’ve done with other drops in the past. Keep an eye on Sonic’s socials or your nearest location to be the first in line when the brine hits.

What to sip & snack on in the meantime

Can’t wait until July to get your hands on the Big Dill Meal? Sonic’s already serving up some summer staples to hold you over. The Sweet Watermelon and Lemonberry slushies are officially back, and are basically sunshine in a cup. When you’re team sweet, sour, or somewhere in between, they’ve got your summer cravings covered.

And if you’re looking for something a bit more savory, don’t sleep on the Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni Bites. Think pizza rolls but on another level. They’re crispy, cheesy, and dangerously snackable. Basically, they’re the perfect sidekick for whatever slush flavor you’re vibing with that day.

So while the pickle chaos brews behind the scenes, you’ve got plenty of options to keep your drive-thru runs interesting. Stay tuned, stay hungry, and maybe start emotionally preparing your taste buds now.
