If you are a Taco Bell fan, get excited. The fast food chain restaurant just made some menu changes beginning as soon as tomorrow. Here’s what you can look forward to. A new Grilled Cheese Burrito is permanently joining the menu. A Triple Double Crunchwrap and a Vegan Crunchwrap are being tested at select locations, plus a 3-course and 5-course menu option.
The Grilled Cheese Burrito is now available nationwide
Originally introduced as a limited-time offer in 2020, Taco Bell officially added the Grilled Cheese Burrito to its permanent menu. This burrito features seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, seasoned rice, fiesta strips, creamy chipotle sauce, reduced-fat sour cream, and three-cheese blend wrapped inside of a flour tortilla and topped with grilled cheese. Mouth. Watering. Taco Bell is also offering an addition of steak, black beans, or chicken to add to this delectable burrito.
Taco Bell is testing a Triple Double Crunchwrap and 3- and 5-course meals
This Triple Double Crunchwrap is currently being tested on the menu at a select location in the Columbus, Ohio area — if you are a Buckeye, go get this while you can! If reviews come back positive, it may make menus nationwide. The Triple Double Crunchwrap was first available in the summer of 2016 and features double layers of seasoned beef, double layers of nacho cheese sauce, double layers of crunchy tostada shells, lettuce, tomatoes, and reduced-fat sour cream all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla. Again — mouth watering.
The 3-course meal is like a Crave Box but less customizable. It includes a Triple Double Crunchwrap, a Crunchy Taco, and Cinnamon Twists for only $5. That’s a bang for your buck if you ask me. The 5-course meal comes with a Triple Double Crunchwrap, a 5-Layer Burrito, a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos, a Crunchy Taco, and a medium fountain drink for just $8.99. Both of these are also just being tested in the Columbus, Ohio area for now.
Taco Bell is testing out a Vegan Crunchwrap
Taco Bell announced that starting tomorrow, they will be testing the new Vegan Crunchwrap at select locations in New York City, Orlando, and Los Angeles. This Crunchwrap has vegan seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, crunchy tostada shells, cool vegan blanco sauce, and warm vegan nacho sauce wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla. This Crunchwrap will be priced slightly differently based on which location you are ordering from. Again, Taco Bell is hoping to see this Crunchwrap get some love so that in the future they can add it to their permanent menu.
