It was a blessed day when I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and saw that Starbucks has released six new Frappuccino flavors. All I can say is Lord have mercy on us all, because you know you have to try all six flavors at some point this summer. Inspired by fans, Starbucks rolled out these new treats to satisfy our summer taste buds.
The six new flavors being offered are Red Velvet Cake, Cotton Candy, Cinnamon Roll, Lemon Bar, Caramel Cocoa Cluster and Cupcake. I’m so excited to have these Frappuccinos officially in my life so I can finally stop ordering off the secret menu, which was a bit hit and miss for me depending on my barista.
In case you’re not sold on the new Frappuccino flavors (um, what’s wrong with you?), let me just share the description of my personal favorite, the Caramel Cocoa Cluster. It’s described as a “flavor collision of chocolate, nuts and caramel” that’s infused with toffee nut syrup and topped with dark caramel sauce and a mocha drizzle. Insert drooling here.

These Frappuccinos are being offered for a limited time, and are part of a fan-driven competition. Starting June 9th, fans can vote on their favorite Fan Flavor Frappuccino and from July 3rd to July 6th the winning flavor will be available as a grande for only $3. Essentially, Starbucks has given you a reason to try each new flavor within the next few weeks, which is a win-win situation really. But don’t worry, all of the flavors will still be offered once the competition is over.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go run to the nearest Starbucks and get my hands on one of these bad boys.
