Starbucks Secret Holiday Menu

Lo and behold: the holiday season has arrived on campus – or at least in Starbucks. Go in for your morning coffee and you might as well have walked into a holiday vortex.

Now what if I told you that in addition to your standbys, there is a whole new menu of seasonal delight waiting to be explored? To throw a little variety into this holiday season, indulge in some of these holiday treats (both hot and cold) that aren’t on the menu, consolidated into one handy list for you.

Note: not all baristas know everything on the secret menu, so bring the recipe just in case. Then enjoy the holiday merriment that ensues!

Pumpkin Pie Frappuccino
Not just for after Thanksgiving dinner! Start with a crème-base pumpkin spice Frappuccino, then add:

-Cinnamon dolce syrup (1 pump for tall, 2 for grande, 3 for venti)

-Cinnamon dolce sprinkles

-Whipped cream, blended in

-Top with more whipped cream and cinnamon dolce sprinkles. No Cool Whip necessary.

Candy Cane Lane Frappuccino

Who says candy canes are just for hanging on Christmas trees? Enjoy this easy-to-order peppermint treat anytime.

Start with a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, then add:

-Peppermint syrup (1 pump for tall, 1.5 for grande, 2 for venti)

Christmas Cookie Frappuccino
Just like Grandma makes.

Start with a crème-base Frappuccino, then add:
-Peppermint syrup (1 pump for tall, 1.5 for grande, 2 for venti)

-Toffee nut syrup (1 pump for tall, 1.5 for grande, 2 for venti)

-Top with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a raw sugar packet on top.

The Roasted Chestnut
Sip this to the sweet, sweet croon of Bing Crosby – for kids from one to ninety-two.

Start with a Hazelnut Macchiato, then add:
-Toffee nut syrup (1 pump for tall, 1.5 for grande, 2 for venti)

-Extra hazelnut syrup (1 pump for tall, 1.5 for grande, 2 for venti)

-White chocolate mocha syrup (1/2 pump tall and grandé, 1 for venti)

-Top with whipped cream and hazelnut drizzle

Holiday Apple Spice
Guaranteed to warm you up from the inside out.

Start with gingerbread syrup (3 pumps for tall, 4 for grande, 5 for venti), then:
-Steam in apple juice (same amount as a Caramel Apple Spice)

-Top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.

Harry Potter Butterbeer Latté
Ever wish you could go on a snowy walk through Hogsmeade with a couple of your friends for a couple butterbeers at the Three Broomsticks? Well, you can’t…but this is close enough – a treat for Harry Potter nerds everywhere. (Beware: this treat is VERY sweet.).

Start with a whole milk steamer (don’t skimp on the fat for this one – it could mess up the consistency), then add:
-Caramel syrup (2 pumps for tall, 3 for grande, 4 for venti)

-Toffee nut syrup (2 pumps for tall, 3 for grande, 4 for venti)

-Cinnamon dolce syrup (2 pumps for tall, 3 for grande, 4 for venti)

-Top with whipped cream and salted caramel bits
