Starbucks has brought back their fan-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte (no surprises there) for the 13th year in a row. Although the PSL doesn’t officially launch until September 6th, basics around the world can get their hands on the fall-themed beverage today, no Uggs required.
The pumpkin spice latte, for the .2% of Americans who don’t already know and haven’t seen it in every Starbucks window from here to Tallahassee, is a coffee beverage made with fall spice flavors (such as cinnamon, ginger, clover, and nutmeg), steamed milk, vanilla syrup, and espresso, topped with a dash of pumpkin pie flavor.
Starbucks has also released a new fall drink called Chile Mocha, which comes with espresso, steamed milk, cocoa, and cinnamon pepper and is topped with whipped cream and a dash of Chile Mocha seasoning (which is a mix of ancho and cayenne chile pepper, cinnamon, paprika, sugar, and touch of sea salt).
So go grab your first PSL of the season – we know you’ve been waiting all year, and we’re only judging a little.
