Stanley Has A Leakproof Tumbler Coming

Ever since the reusable water bottle trend began, it has been literally unstoppable. Not only has it been better for the environment, but it has brought a whole new level of hydration to society and allowed creativity and individuality with all the ways people customize their own bottles

But, with so many available options — Stanley, Owala, Hydro Flask — it comes as no surprise that consumers may be feeling a little overwhelmed at trying to make a decision for which water bottle they should purchase. Do you go with the Owala for the fun colorways? The Hydro Flask for its classic look? Or the Stanley, which everyone fell in love with as the on-the-go option because it fits perfectly in any cup holder?

For many customers, the Stanley Quencher seemed like the perfect cup…in theory. It comes in a number of awesome colors and different sizes. However, it had one consequential issue — it leaks. There have been a number of reports and claims that the gasket, the small rubber ring that is found on the bottom of the lid of water bottles and thermoses, becomes worn out over time causing a decrease in seal-ability. If you are going to carry a large metal water bottle around, you want to be able to throw it in your backpack or work bag without worrying if it will spill and ruin all your important work and possessions. But now, Stanley has added something even more exciting to set it apart from competitors and prove it is superior once and for all — a leakproof version of its Classic Quencher bottle.
