Snag A Free Mountain Dew By Crossing Over Into Mountain Time

Mountain Dew is known for its neon green color, as well as its refreshing citrus flavor. As  suggested in its name, the soda brand has an emphasis on the great outdoors, specifically mountains. It only makes sense that Mountain Dew has announced the Mountain Time Zone as its unofficial official time zone. It’s statistically proven that people living in the Mountain Time Zone are more cheerful than most Americans. That’s why Mountain Dew is encouraging people to visit the time zone and embrace the joy. Plus, you can get a free Mountain Dew out of it.

How can I get a free Mountain Dew soda?

If you want to get your hands on a crisp, refreshing (and free!) soda, you need to register on welcometomtntime.com. After that, start making your travel plans! You can receive a free soda by traveling into the Mountain Time Zone once you have registered. You can fly, drive, take a train, or even walk there. Once you’ve crossed into the time zone, you can redeem for a free soda on the website. Not only will you be in the most cheerful time zone, but you’ll have a delicious soda to enjoy as well. But act fast, because this deal ends December 31, 2024.

“With the great outdoors at the core of everything we do, we want to encourage everyone to embrace the Mountain Time mindset by giving away free Mountain Dew to anyone who crosses into the Mountain Time Zone,” said JP Bittencourt, the vice president of marketing at Mountain Dew.

It’s all a part of Mountain Dew’s effort to get people to “Do The Dew,” which basically means get people outdoors, specifically in the Mountain Time Zone. Their new brand character, “the Mountain Dude” embodies what it’s like to have that Mountain mindset.

If you’re feeling more adventurous than simply visiting the Mountain Time Zone and want to make a permanent move, Mountain Dew also has you covered — by reimbursing your move.

How can I get Mountain Dew to pay for my move to the Mountain Time Zone?

Five people will be able to get their move to the Mountain Time Zone covered by the brand, as a part of their “Mountain Dew Hauls.” In order to enter, just make a TikTok video explaining why you’re making the move to the Mountain Time Zone, and how you’re planning on spending time outdoors once you’re moved. Make sure you include the tags #MountainDewHauls and #contest.

Winners will get their move reimbursed (up to $10,000), as well as free Mountain Dew soda for a year and a Mountain Dew Outdoor gear package. You’ll have everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors.
