This Fitness Influencer’s Morning Routine Is Going Viral, And So Is Saratoga Springs Water

If you thought that a 6am alarm was bad, morning routines just got even more intense. Fitness influencer Ashton Hall’s daily regimen, which he begins around 3:50 a.m., is viral on social media due to the insane timestamps, a banana facial, and plenty of Saratoga Springs water.  Although he shared that he started his mornings with dunking his face into a bowl of Saratoga Springs Water at the beginning of the year, he drew more attention as his routine became more elaborate.

What is Ashton Hall’s morning routine?

In a TikTok featuring his morning routine, Hall wakes up bright and early at around 4 a.m. to peel off his mouth tape before brushing his teeth, rinsing with an iconic blue bottle of Saratoga Springs Water and shaping up his beard.

Then, Hall goes on his balcony to meditate and do some push-ups (with his trusty bottle of Saratoga Springs by his side) before decompressing by journaling. Afterward, he prepares a bowl of ice with a full bottle of Saratoga Springs Water and a squeeze of lemon juice before dunking his face in the ice bath.

Around 6 a.m., Hall heads to his building’s steam room for about 20 minutes and goes for a run afterwards. As his routine comes to a close, it’s 8 a.m. and he’s sipping more Saratoga, rubbing a banana peel on his face, and enjoying a fresh-cooked breakfast made by his personal chef. By 9 a.m. (approximately five hours after waking up), Hall is finally ready to start his day — but not before another Saratoga ice water facial.

How did the internet react to Ashton Hall’s morning routine?

Hall’s TikTok has garnered over 13 million views, inspiring users and brand names alike to recreate the routine. Dr. Miami followed the routine down to the squat Hall does in his TikTok, but the doc couldn’t keep his Saratoga water from bursting every time he twisted the cap. Mascots from Cap’n Crunch to the Baltimore Ravens bird also joined the trend with their own personalized twists. Even after faking its death for nearly a month, the Duolingo mascot added Hall’s daily grind to their routine of telling users to complete their daily lessons.

A common feature in the videos? Just like Hall, these mascots and influencers are also using the recognizable same blue water bottle as the fitness influencer.

Why does Hall use Saratoga Springs Water?

Even though Hall used Saratoga’s bottles in many of his videos, to some people’s surprise, he is not partnered with the water bottle company, which some TikTok users consider a missed opportunity for the company to score some clout and increase sales.

In his routine, Hall uses Saratoga Springs Water for more than just hydrating and rinsing after brushing his teeth — the highlight of the video is arguably his repetitive facial ice baths, which all feature the blue bottled water. But if there’s no partnership, why is Hall so prominently featuring Saratoga?

According to Men’s Health, some dermatologists agree that the brand’s water has minerals and magnesium that can be good for the skin. As far as using plain sink water to do an ice facial, Hall might have thought he’d found the cheat code to elevating his skincare by using water with more health benefits. However, dermatologists confirm that just drinking Saratoga water would suffice for adequate mineral intake.
