It’s official.

On November 5th Hershey’s announced its newest product: Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread. It’s essentially a spreadable Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, so it can basically turn anything into edible gold. Clearly this is the moment that human evolution has always been waiting for.

News has it that these jars of unimaginable goodness have already hit the shelves nationwide. My recent trips to Walgreens before and after every class, however, suggest that they have not. I admit I got just a little desperate, and did a quick search on Amazon. They’re selling for about $11 to $16 per jar, which is more than three times the recommended price tag ($3.90). Much as I would like to ship these babies over, I am after all a responsible adult who manages her finances with great prudence (read: broke college student).

Good things come to those who wait. So I will wait.
